I guess I'll have to go out and buy Magnus #2... and #1, for that matter.

Might as well pick up the Solars as well.

I would look at them but not buy them. A roll of Marcial is worth more.

I have been using the Panda brand. It's almost as good as Charmin and it's 2 bucks for 4 rolls. Can't beat that.

Oh, and maybe they aren't as bad as a lot of people think. I haven't read them, so who's to say for me?

;)

Indeed, to each their own, but...I just didn't feel the instant excitment with these that I did with the originals.

So, I finally get back to my old comic shop. I must have spent thousands there over the years, but I've stopped collecting current comics 2 years ago. It figures it would take something I LOVE to get me back there. This time it was Shooter's new Magnus! Was I gonna go back on my word and start reading new comics again? If anything could do it, it would be Magnus!!

So, I bought a copy of Magnus #1 from Dark Horse. I did not like it AT ALL. Not the art, not the story. And I REALLY wanted to like it! I'm a big Magnus fan, but I just didn't enjoy any aspect of it. It's NOT as bad as the last 2 incarnations of the old Robot Fighter (VH2 and iBooks), but it still did nothing for me and I felt I wasted my money.

I haven't felt this bad about something that I once LIVED for since the Star Wars Prequels. However, unlike the Star Wars Prequels, which, in certain aspects, have slightly grown on me over time, I can tell you that this book will not. It's crap!

And the reprint of the Gold Key Magnus in back is terrible. It's faded and washed out and looks like smeg (excuse my Red Dwarf reference)! I have all 3 of the Hardcover Magnus Gold Key reprints and don't tell me they couldn't make it look any better.

Honestly, I will be surprised if Dark Horse's Magnus goes any longer than a year. Based on this 1 issue, I won't even pick up Solar. It's VALIANT Magnus or bust!!

Whoa. If you didn't like Magnus, save your money on Solar. The Magnus book was much better. Doc Solar #1 was a poor excuse for a comic, but it did get a bit better with #2.

Hopefully I will get the new episode out this weekend.

Work has been slaughtering me, I've been working nights and weekends, I haven't had the time or energy to get the episode ready to ship.

Thanks for patience..

I keep checking every day to see if the new episode has posted yet. No matter how many times I've listened to the episodes, I keep going back and re-listening!

Kinda like Valiant.

There are some OTV episodes that I have probably listened to over 10 times.

I have for sure listened to the SDCC episodes over 10 times each. Even the one with Drunk (ok, maybe buzzed) Dr. in the bar.

Is that the one that TAFKAZWH said in another episode is, and I quote, "a mistake?"

We did. You can take my word for it.

Doc is a busy guy. That job thing of his gets in the way of things that are more fun but don't pay as well, like editing OTV.

I'd like to think OTV is worth every penny or double your money back.

He's explained it before. I think he does some architecture work for an engineering firm? Maybe some engineering work for an architecture firm?

You do have a map, written directions, a GPS and the army/airforce on standby to help you find your way this time, right?
