I'll tell you what I'm AFRAID of.

I'm afraid that there are VALIANT FANS who just found this board today
and they're being subjected to the idiotic crap that you're typing.

This site is about SUPPORTING VALIANT.

If you can't focus on things that support Valiant, you aren't needed here.

You know where the exit is... it's your choice.
Tom Crusie, Hustler magazine, and donkey balls aside, we should be showing solidarity as a very united grass roots fan base in order to send a clear message to VIP - "we don't want your trash."

For the record:

I will not buy VIP products if they are of the same quality and "demean"or as the so-called "ashcan" which was being sold for ~$40 at the comicon. If VIP can produce a product (VH1-related, or otherwise) which meets or exceeds the quality standards of this board, I will consider purchasing that product.

The thing is they never will be able to. All they will ever possibly have are names. VEI has all of the content of the characters.

VEI have commissioned new Valiant content, with Jim Shooter and have solicited a newly coloured, hardbound collection of reprint Valiant stories. Which many here have already ordered.

VIP have produced a black and white ashcan of concept art. Which, frankly, anyone who frequents this board could have put together.

If VIP ever produce 'a comic' then we may have something to talk about, as it stands, there's no news here.

Sounds like shill...
The sad thing is how many people think in terms of legal or illegal instead of right and wrong.

Ain't that the truth? I don't care if vip has some legal backing, they're still frickin' shady...

Ok, I admit it, Im a Pepsi guy myself... Wild Cherry Pepsi, baby!!! mm,mm, good!

Ok, back to the thread..
I say we just back off the negativity and work on using our collective time and wits to send a message out there to the people who matter: Other fans, store owners, and other boards.

I wish Dino and Co would give us a bit more to brag about. Lets get some stuff in here to distribute to the community so we can start talking abotu what VEI has coming down the pipe.

So what if the titles of some of the books are shot.. lets get creative and get some new titles.. I know, there are probably a dozen threads with these..

Lets gets some new material out there regarding our favorite universe.

Yes. This would be good. I'd love to pimp out some new Valiant.

There's five in that picture.

Is it one auction for each item, or one auction for all 4/5?

There for each individual one he is saving on listing them like that instead of ONE at a time.
