I'm afraid not.

I saw a guy lighting a cigarette the other day with a match,
and for a split second, I wanted to congratulate him on discovering fire...
but then I realized that fire has probably been around a few years, and that
he was just a moron that needed to quit dancing around yelling,
"I discovered fire! I discovered fire! When the book of Fire is written,
I need to be given credit for the discovery!"

Strangely, some of the people around him were cheering...
but maybe they'd just never seen fire before. :hm:

Luckily, the "I discovered water guy" came by and drenched everyone with a fire hose.

Then we all just busted out laughing, and I bought some new socks.

The end. :thumb:

You don't have to call yourself "someone". We know you as Dr. Solar... and congrats on the humor-discovery thing. :thumb:

Watch out... because if that's the case, someone will now discover Chiclo.

Ryan took notes. I don't know where, when, or if he's gonna post it, though.

Instead of going out drinking with people from work, I came home to read updates on the Valiant Comic Con panel.

Actually, nobody from work mentioned going to the bar. I am just disappointed all around tonight.

It's probably been a long day for the guys....

Imagine walking back n forth down miles and miles of aisles...

they probably went to their rooms exhausted...

I heard Valerie took some video of the panel...I'm sure we'll be able to get some live stuff soon...

as for quotes and comments...I would expect them tmrw or sunday definitely...

*SQUEE*, I was hoping for something too...

"Hey guys, they talked about what the new Valiant was going to consist of... <fill in blank here>"

or:

"Wow, you guys would love it, they talked about whats after the Hard Cover and... <fill in blank here>"

or how about:

"Unfortunately, those guys on the panel just took turns individually laughing at as for wanting Valiant back so bad after so many years and... <fill in blank here>"

and lastly, I probably would have even been satisfied with something like:

"Wow, I'm sorry guys but my rectum was just on fire during the entire Valiant Panel I wasn't able to catch much of it... Damn Tijuana hookers... <fill in rest of story here>"

but instead, we get nothing...

Yeah, so? You were there, right?

Updates, man! At the NYC convention last year, I spent an hour every night posting here about what was going down up there - and I would be getting in at 3-4 AM every morning!

Well, I did get up at 4 today. In fact I've been getting at four every day here, heh.

I can tell you that there were some insights into what Hall was thinking when he was working on Shadowman after Acclaim bought it and how he intended to handle Jack's death.

There was some insight from Vanhook on how Rai 0 came to be, stuff like that.

There was a fanboy who was obsessed with King Arthur and Eternal Warrior that was nitpicking at a story that Vanhook didn't even write.... wait a minute, I was that fanboy!!!

(in my defense Vanhook told me to make a question up, so I just blabbed the first thing that came to mind).

I did ask the panel which character they'd like to work on again and what they'd do with them today.

I'll let the real journalist who was there fill you in on the rest and the details of the above.

This is so different then the VALIANT panel at last April's con - which gets me thinking... some smartass there asked the panel if they thought that if VALIANT came back and if Jim Shooter's involvement in said DNV would be a positive thing or a negative thing. I noticed there was a small pause before anyone answered, and thought to myself "must be a good question, glad I asked it." Now, I am thinking that maybe at least a few people there might have known a little something-something about what we are going to get to read in less than a month!!!

Actually, I don't think anyone even had a clue back last April, they didn't seem to have a direction quite yet, but they do now.

I wouldn't bet on that, anyways... who knows how long things have been "lined up," and waiting for the whole trademark/copyright dispute to clear up so they could move ahead???
