Nope, never heard of it. I will look to see if it has been collected.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

No collections yet. It's only a 9 issue storyline so they'll collect it all in one trade when the last issue comes out in about 4-5 months.

I just read the first ten issues of the Vertigo series Northlanders. I was not very impressed. It appears to be an ongoing series where about every so-many issues they starts a new story line with new characters. The first eight issues were okay, 9-10 was not very good at all. I am going to stop reading this one.

That's a bummer. I picked up the first issue when it came out but I didn't like it too much. I was hoping it got better, a Vertigo Viking story has so much potential :|

Only Preacher story I wasn't impressed with was the New Orleans story with Les Enfants du Sang. They were annoying and poncey and wound me up. Everything else was cool.

I am currently noticing discrepancies between the Solar and X-O Seed of Destruction issues.

I read a few issues of Northlanders and I've enjoyed it. I also like DMZ from Wood. However, I do think he's a bit overrated. I've heard people gushing about Demo and I thought it was just mediocre.

Finished up Preacher and yes, it is in my top 10 books. Maybe my top 5. A very impressive set of stories.

One of the best lines from the series:

"Well if it isn't Country Joe Mother *SQUEE* and his dick Cheese Posse."
"You sayin' I'm gay?"
"No, I'm sayin' that your the kinda guy who'd crawl through a perfectly good *SQUEE*-house just to get to a fat boy's a$$."

There's a lot of good lines. It's amazing how one, simple, four letter word, spoken by Starr, can be so funny. The series is full of humor and I can't recommend it enough.

Well, I finished it just to get it out of the way. It's overrated like Ohio State's rankings each year in the BCS.

Usually, I like wordy books, but I'm glad this one was word-lyte because I got through it faster.

On the bright side, it has further enforced that if I don't like something, I should just stop reading it and get rid of it and NOT make myself read through something just because I own it. That doesn't bode well for all of these post unity Valiants I have taking up space.

I have not. It seems interesting.

I have asked about it, if I recall some really liked it, some it was just ok.

It is for sure on my radar.

I just finished this today.

It could not have been better.

I wonder if Valiant could do something similar as a re-introduction to some of there characters.

This is my favorite book currently being produced. Did you get the TPBs of the hardcover?

TPB's, but I only bought the first one-3 bucks-but just sat and read 2 & 3. I maye read up through volume 7, find the "current" issues and put it on my MEAGER pull list.
