Yes Gilad is in Unity, but he shares space with several other characters, and his appearances in other things like Ivar make a lot of sense.agent_graves wrote:I agree, Mirage, Divinity, and Shadowman, first and formost. I like Gilad, I just wish, Shadowman got the same push from Valiant.dornwolf wrote: Kinda annoyed that Eternal Warriors getting another on-going as I feel that should be Mirages spot.
Me too...Still love Valiant
Arguably with 20/21 issues, Shadowman has had more of a push compared to Gilad's solo 11.

That said, I am not sure I ever want to see the push of 'End Times' repeated - the character direction left a really sour taste for this reader, as it did in the preceding arc that Milligan wrote.

VEI - I look forward to you one day publishing MORE than 9-10 books per month

Well, nobody liked End Times, we agree there. But the fact that Shadowmans solo lasted longer than Gilads, doesn't mean much when compared to Gilad, not only being in Unity, but also staring in the Valiant, Book of Death, and he has another on-going coming out on the heels of their latest event. Shadowman hasn't been seen since his on-going/mini ended, the difference is pretty evident.leonmallett wrote:Yes Gilad is in Unity, but he shares space with several other characters, and his appearances in other things like Ivar make a lot of sense.agent_graves wrote:I agree, Mirage, Divinity, and Shadowman, first and formost. That's what myself and many are saying, Gilads despite everything is still front and center, along with X-O and Ninjak I'd call him one of Valiants pillars. Shadowman on the other hand despite several now supernatural books specifically The Valiant he's nowhere to be seen. The Book of Death literally feels like a last hope. Now seeing X-O #38 picked up a few continuity nods from other books my hope is that Venditti who is writing BoD is aware and utilizes Shadowman.agent_graves wrote:Well, nobody liked End Times, we agree there. Now that you've brought it to my attention: "Right on the picture it says" 'coming'. Guess you're just as bad at this whole 'observation' thing as I am eh?dornwolf wrote:Where does it say returning, right on the picture it says arriving.Shadowman99 wrote:I think it's pretty harsh to make any kind of impression on a book off on the strength of a single statement like that, MONTHS before it's even hit the shelfbravura1 wrote:Tbe direction tbey are taking the eternal warrior doesnt sound promising...even if its a future timeline.
"..finds himself stranded in a hostile alien landscape unlike any he’s ever faced. Separated from his earthly environs..."Give the guys a fair chance eh?
On another note, I'm with others here on finding the lack of news on some kind of Shadowman title disappointing. Really happy about another Dr. Mirage 4-issue miniseries and Eternal Warrior ongoing title though.
XO Manowar going to #50 is amazing news, can't wait. Not sure why it's "returning" in 2016 though? Creative break for V.ditti or something?

I was confused by that as well. I thought they were saying X-O was going on hiatus or something.Shadowman99 wrote:Now that you've brought it to my attention: "Right on the picture it says" 'coming'. Guess you're just as bad at this whole 'observation' thing as I am eh?
