Wow. What you guys are planning is impressive. And it's great to see everyone motivated into creating this book. :)

This book does feel like it died :( , although I really hope it that isn't the case. We had a real cool story to tell. Let's get the ball rolling again guys.

yeah what is the deal? did one of you oust the rest of the guys so you could get all the glory for yourself? where's knight? is he okay? someone better check on him...it's not like him to be so quiet. (that's a joke-and true at the same time)

Once again: I've been traveling and trying to fix up my house for the wife. I've been charged with submitting a completed plot to the rest of teh writers and then we'll figure out how the tale will progress from there. THEN we'll start posting. I promise: it's not dead. Far from it.

Be patient guys, we're not teenagers anymore and most of us have serious business to attend to in order to pay bills, appease spouses and keep kids under control.

With the weather improving I'm sure people are just more prone to go outdoors with the family as apposed to the indoor cyber alternative. Progress may slow on the 2004 projects but so long as Architect and BoH stay motivated to motivate the creative team we should be ok.

We better be ok... I really want to see this collaboration come together with a completed book. Who knows it may not come out till 2005...knock on wood. But that's better than nothing.

Knight's out with back surgery...won't be back for awhile he said...something about titanium rods and pins...there's a whole set of posts wishing him well somewhere...

Heh, heh.

Just busting your chops, BoH.

I'm experiencing film-maker delays, so let me know if you need me to jump back in for a few hours.

Best,
Kevin

And all the appropriate well-wishes go out to Knight.
I had a dream that I was falling through time. I am falling still.

I smell writer's block...:)
Let's jump-start the plot!

In regards to the Bloodshot 2004 story, I thought it would be a good idea for the story to flashback to 2003, when the Corporate Wars were to start (according to the Valiant Timeline).

Kevin, can you explain more about what the Corporate Wars were about?
We could have it tie into the storyline of Bloodshot 2004. The next part of the 2004 'rebirth' could be "X-O Manowar 2004", & could explain how Orb Industries & the Harbinger Foundation began their 'War" against each other (as described in the Timeline). The Bloodshot 2004 story-line could end with the unexpected appearance of X-O...

This way, this could be more than 'just another Bloodshot story'. I don't think you could have a story set in 2004, with Harada as the foe, without going into the details of the start of the 2003 Corporate Wars, without disregarding the Timeline.

Also it would be interesting to have the Valiant characters go against each other, backing either Harada or Orb, for whatever their reasons...(just like Chris is doing with the Battle Tournament on the messageboard) :)

Whaadaayaathink?

i think we should start over and do this like solar 2004. that team is great. no offense to anyone who likes the current story, but i think it could be better. i think harbinger 2004 oughta have all the corporate wars stuff.

The Corporate Wars were between the Harbinger Foundation & Orb Industries. This is Harada vs X-O.
It was supposed to start in 2003, & last several years, turning into The Harbinger Wars, which lasted several decades.

So what is Harada doing with the Eternal Warrior & Bloodshot in 2004, if it's not connected to the Wars?

The Corporate Wars & The Harbinger War are both events which would cross-over the entire Valiant Universe of present day, IMO.---Steve G

MAY 2003---The beginning of the first Corporate War. As governments the world over collapse under the collective political and economic troubles, multinational corporations step forward to maintain order. Soon, corporate conflicts escalate. All out war begins with Toyo HARADA, the HARBINGER FOUNDATION and allies on one side, and ORB INDUSTRIES, the HARBINGER Resistance, and the HARD CORPS on the other.

MARCH 2005---Obadiah ARCHER marries Charlene Dupre, FLAMINGO. Together they found ACT UP, a movement dedicated to peace. Though little notice was taken at the time, these "Archies" soon become commonplace; symbols of an alternative to a world torn by corporate wars.

---So in all this, we need to bring back Archer, Armstrong, & Geoff from wherever they went to at the end of Chaos Effect.---Steve G

Those three came back in 99 in time for the event, so it's not necessary to do a return story :)

The "Return" story could be a great adventure yarn! I'm sure others want to know where they went, & what happened. It would make a cool future project to write.:)---Steve G

Sure, told in flashbacks.

Imagine Aram post 2020 (Archer's death) traveling the world (and later the universe) telling people stories about his time with Archer, ala Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.
