Re: Big Valiant Announcements at Twitter HQ
I had a great time with the Valiant crew. It was fun to talk shop, and get the inside scoop. Plus, I got some cool comics, and a I had everyone sign a Divinity blank as a momento for the first #ValiantSummit. We all had lunch afterward, and even thought we were interrupted by a fire alarm evacuation, it was a good time. Thank god it didn't happen during the presentation!

Mum's the word on anything I heard off the record. I liked the conversation with Rob, Warren, Dinesh and Hunter on whether Bloodshot would lose his memories again.
Jen is wonderful and smart in person, much like her books.

VEI should hire someone named Turok, then put him on a panel with Mr. Shamdasani and Mr. Gorinson.nycjadie wrote:Warren Simons, Jen Van Meter, Robert Venditti, Dino, Hunter.

Kinda annoyed that Eternal Warriors getting another on-going as I feel that should be Mirages spot.
That said good to see the Mirage title will continue the theme of the original series
agree with the lack of Shadowman.
Still love Valiant for calling out that they're going for 50, in an age of constant reboots and relaunches cool to see them want to go for it and make it a big deal, just need to keep a few other series getting there to.

I think Shadowman will have to tie into Book of Death in some way. It could be that they have something planned already, but they don't want to announce it just yet so they don't spoil Book of Death.dornwolf wrote:My literally first thought when I saw that imageBugsySig wrote:XO #50 tease via CBR: http://www.comicbookresources.com/artic ... iantsummit" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Big Valiant Announcements at Twitter HQ
Hope so as it's getting pretty sad that Shadowman is missing and with Darque involved it'd be smart on their part to include it.kjjohanson wrote:I think Shadowman will have to tie into Book of Death in some way. Re: Big Valiant Announcements at Twitter HQ
I think it's pretty harsh to make any kind of impression on a book off on the strength of a single statement like that, MONTHS before it's even hit the shelfbravura1 wrote:Tbe direction tbey are taking the eternal warrior doesnt sound promising...even if its a future timeline.
"..finds himself stranded in a hostile alien landscape unlike any he’s ever faced. Separated from his earthly environs..."

On another note, I'm with others here on finding the lack of news on some kind of Shadowman title disappointing. Really happy about another Dr. Mirage 4-issue miniseries and Eternal Warrior ongoing title though.
XO Manowar going to #50 is amazing news, can't wait. Not sure why it's "returning" in 2016 though? Creative break for V.ditti or something?

Where does it say returning, right on the picture it says arriving.Shadowman99 wrote:I think it's pretty harsh to make any kind of impression on a book off on the strength of a single statement like that, MONTHS before it's even hit the shelfbravura1 wrote:Tbe direction tbey are taking the eternal warrior doesnt sound promising...even if its a future timeline.

I agree, Mirage, Divinity, and Shadowman, first and formost. I like Gilad, I just wish, Shadowman got the same push from Valiant.dornwolf wrote: Kinda annoyed that Eternal Warriors getting another on-going as I feel that should be Mirages spot.
Me too...Still love Valiant
