Again, as soon as I receive grades on any points of interest, I will definitely hit you back to LYK .

Jay, this reminds me of a question I've been meaning to ask you (and other fanatic slabbers such as ckb, Intrepidxc, etc.):

I'm guessing you have a day job and the slabs are just a side income. How much time you put into this stuff each week? Between buying books, examining them, shipping, contacting possible buyers (and sellers for your raws), etc.

Also (and feel absolutely free to ignore this question entirely if you want), how much do you make in profit in this venture?

Last, do you keep any for yourself - a "never sell" stack or something?

Just curious.

I get the feeling a minimum of 75-90%+ goes back into obtaining more books and slabs.. and that he's probably just now coming ahead this year from the massive amount of $$ he spent on VEI books he got graded in the summer and fall of 2012..

Or wait was that CKB? or both..?

Intrepid, I think you got a very high grade back on a very desirable book going raw to CGC. It's tedious and requires patience and some luck, but fwiw how many ruined 9.6 or 9.8 Rai 0s would it take to make up for the pleasant surprise in your signature. Answer = 100+ lol
