There was a question at the panel about Eternal Warrior, and Warren said that for now, they are seeding Eternal Warrior's role in the Valiant Universe in other books.

As much as I'd love to see an Eternal Warrior book, this makes a lot of sense from a universe building standpoint. Eternal Warrior can easily pass through the current books. Using the new title to explore a different aspect of the new Valiant U, makes a lot more sense at this point. Hmmm...Shadowman, perhaps!?! :hm:

I processed the video of the Comic-Con panel last night, now I just have to figure out how to host an hour long video, and upload it, and I'll have it available for all to watch.

I just did the same thing with the HeroesCon video using Youtube. It was no trouble at all.

Yeah, I looked into it, it looks like I just have to make a request to lengthen my video time limit to more than standard 15 minutes.

From the help page.

http://support.google.com/youtube/bin/a ... swer=71673" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

All users have the ability to upload videos up to 15 minutes in length. You can attain the ability to upload longer length videos if:

Your account is in good standing, as determined by the YouTube Community Guidelines.
You verify your account with a mobile phone.
Your account has no worldwide Content ID blocks on any content

I just verified mine and it was good to go. Looking forward to seeing it. Just listened to the podcast. Sounds like a good time was had by all.

VERY COOL of Valiant to give the first gold books to fans at the panel. Sure, big retailers may have a way to get them, but some fans have them first! :thumb:
I'm disappointed that several hours after the panel not a single X-O gold is up on eBay. C'mon, people! :P

My :twocents: :
One of the reasons, I have enjoyed these boards over the years (even if I wasn’t actively participating  ) was the shared joy and enthusiasm for this dead universe (and now for the new universe). I’ve enjoyed that it was the one place I could get away from the divisive culture that seems to be at large in our society today. So, I find it disheartening when I see all this squabbling in posts on the board.
Personally, I’d love to attend the SDCC (not going to happen any time soon with current airfare prices – zoinks!!! :o ) and be in on the “secrets” and giveaways. But if I had been able to go and be a part of all of this, I’d be excited about sharing the little I could. The OTV guys’ nanananabooboo club is meant to be tongue-in-cheek and I’m sure it’s killing all of those with inside knowledge not to able to share what they know. I know I’d be dying to telling everyone if I knew. I prefer knowing there is some good news coming down the pipeline even if I don’t know the details, especially when it is concerning a new title.
In short, let’s all chill a bit and keep the schoolyard squabbles for more important things like what’s going on in the actual new Valiant U (i.e. Aric's speech pattern :P ).
Sorry I felt like I needed to say something with this stuff popping up around the boards. over! :D
Check out the two links below and then let’s all hold hands and sing, “Kumbaya”

I was there and still didn't get any "inside info". Though I did try and pry some Shadowman info out of Fred with no luck. If only I had a beer in my hand! With that said, I do take all the nananabooboo as tongue-in-cheek. We'll all know soon enough so people need to lighten up. Besides if the people in the know starting flapping their lips then no one would have any inside info and what fun is that??

What I find interesting though is that no one is saying anything like "you guys are gonna flip out when you hear what the new title is" .... because of that, I suspect it's just a variation of what we already know, even if it's just a title change and the subject is the same :hm:

You will literally explode into a thousand tiny butterflies of delight, of every shiny color of the rainbow, when you learn what the fifth title is.

Pop rocks and cola or just pop rocks? :? I don't know if just pop rocks is enough to trigger a rainbow butterfly explosion.

I think it'll be more along the lines of swallowing a roll of mentos and chasing it with a two liter of diet coke.

I took a bunch of pics of the panel and I will be posting them up soon.

I like that they had Pete abuse his power to take advantage of Kris at the beginning of the arc. I think that it is very important to show that A) Pete is a flawed character (and what hormonal teenager isn't a little bit) and B) psiots can easily abuse their power and hurt those around them. By showing this, Dysart is not only creating realistic characters but is making Peter's eventual redemption more powerful.

Everyone that read the original series knows that Pete has that evil hidden inside of him and basically his arc over the entirety of the old books was one of redemption.
