I've bought a number of pages from Renee and David in the past and they are very good to deal with. Sometimes it takes a bit longer to get pages from them, but I have never had a problem and they have always arrived in excellent condition. I think they also wait until their round of auctions are over to save folks money on shipping. Shoot Renee an email, I'm sure she would be glad to help in any way she can.
Best,
Jay

Yes, it's really a lot.Tim wrote:Is that really a lot?ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:It's nice that DL is getting such a large amount for his art.
When a copies of the book sell for $2500 I would think the original art would be a lot more than that.
I am truthfully shocked that some of these went for so low.
Last year, this time, the pages would have sold for $100-$200.
So, good for DL takin' advantage.
He was asking $13K I think for all 30 pages.
It looks like he got it.

Weird. I would think something one-of-a-kind and especially something like this would fetch more.ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:Yes, it's really a lot.Tim wrote:Is that really a lot?ZephyrWasHOT!! wrote:It's nice that DL is getting such a large amount for his art.

There are THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of pages out there that are "1 of a kind"...some lots more important than Harby #1.Tim wrote:Weird. Single pages of Miller Bats or Daredevil sell in the thousands.
Same with McFarlane Spidey.
Those are the exceptions.
My bid never even registered.x-omatic wrote:I was trying to win these pages. I would have rather had them instead of Harbinger 1 pages.
Original Artwork for Pages 17, 18, 21, from HARBINGER #9 end price $415.65 (my bid $316.86 and there were 3 others between me and the high bid) This was won by a board member.

Two different sets of collectors gives different relations between supply and demand. A while back an empty wrapper from a Mars Attacks pack sold for about the same price as the original art for one of the cards.Tim wrote:When a copies of the book sell for $2500 I would think the original art would be a lot more than that.

I believe at this point the only people who can give that info are Zisette, the winners of the auctions, & anyone lucky enough to still be watching them. Your average E-bayer cannot go back far enough by my understanding.magnusr wrote:Did anyone save the results for pages 2 to 14? Of those I only have the result for page 5. How do I make eBay show the older completed auctions? Apart from the missing 12 results I see a total of about $9300. I'd say that the original valuation of the complete issue has been shown correct.

I don't know, but he sent me an awesome sketch of Lorca when I bought the Splatterball cover from him.Jay Tomio wrote:Does he do this with all purchases? DL also did a sketch of Sueraceen from Warriors of Plasm for me, I'll get a scan up of it as soon as possible.

I'm guessing he does. My page wasn't a high dollar one, and I still got a nice sketch.Jay Tomio wrote:Does he do this with all purchases? I bought a page from him last year where I got a sweet Harby sketch!Brother J wrote:I got my Plasm page today, beautiful, it looks even better in person.
