No no. The timeline inconsistencies are real. Rai #0 page 2 panel 3 sites them as fact so prove they were all fixed.

Why are they not considered big enough?

They happened but are inconsitant with the main timeline. So they were part of the broken timeline then?
See, if we take the dream at face value, then Unity never happened, and if Unity never happened, then the timestream can't be a mess because of it...

I would buy anything about these characters, sadly.

If we aknowledge U2K, then that's when Jack died, period.
So if you can acknowledge U2k as an inconsistancy, then it isn't too far of a stretch to acknowledge that there *MIGHT* be a possibility that the Shadowman who died in 99 wasn't Jack, whether through manipualtion of the records or whatever.

Personally I'm ok with Jack dieing, but I wouldn't want to hamper VEI's creativitiy by strictly enforcing what should and shouldn't happen before the books are even in production.

This is great fun, but I'm heading to Best But to look for the new Turok dvd. Happy day! :thumb:

The timeline PRIOR to those pages was a mess, the events that came after it were from the timeline after the Geomancers fixed it.

Eh, if we aknowledge U2K then Jack either died fighting VH 2 Darque or was killed a fat guy in glasses.

No. Mothergod's computers.
The same ones that told Geoff about Bloodshot.

Where those wrong?
Geoff was able to access Mothergods personal computer.
So you're saying that all other computers were wrong.

Can you prove it?

Right, in a timeline without Unity, Rai #0 would be the mess instead of the fix, but since nothing after X-O #1 would have happened if X-O #68 were taken at face value, then this would be a moot point.

Is it to hard for your small mind to grasp that the information on Mothergods computer would be far more sensitive then those that the general public would have access to???

Elya is not the general public.

And the information she got was 80% accurate. So far you haven't given me any reason to believe that the remaining 20% would be wrong.

Greg was close with the BTTF analogy, but he let it slip from his grasp.

Can you prove that the info that Geoff got came from the same computer that Elya got hers??

but if nothing happened and Rai #0 was wrong then there are inconsistencies because the timeline is broken by it not being broken. If it is not broken then it means that it is broken.

Elya read records from, as you call it, Timeline A. Jack went back to a Timeline A broken by Unity, that when the Geomancers put together became Timeline B, which is what we saw in Rai #0.

So, Elya's records = Timeline A.

Rokkie's story = Timeline B.

Computers have to be programmed by people and people make mistakes and also lie so the information stored in the computer's memory could be wrong due to human error or lying.

It doesn't have to.

In Timeline A (aka Elya's records), Jack died in 99, in Timeline B (aka Rai #0) it was Shadowman, either because of Unity, Jack himself, or the Geomancers.
