Now, I realize that the CGC census is really too young for hardcore manipulation....but the potential DOES exist.
in certain grades may already belong to only one or two collectors.
Remember the huge Bone auction last fall? The guy who had 5 copies of every single issue, slabbed?
He singlehandedly took over the census for Bone. Where before there was 1 copy in 8.5 (#9) or 2 copies in 9.0 and 9.4...now there are 6, 7, 8, 10 copies, all in 9.0-9.8.
One guy.
Totally obliterated the census.
