Do you think they'll be anything VALIANT related in the Con's Souvenir Book?

The souvenir book is usually filled with art that fans and pro's have contributed to the various anniversay comings and goings like it's the 25th anniversary of "The Rocketter" so there will be art congradulating it...stuff like that it's really a waste to look at....

So No I don't think so....

Hmmm.... but a year from now the fans here should include something to conmemorate the almost one year anniversary of the release of Harbinger: The Beginning HC and the return of VALIANT to the stands.

August is going to become VEI's anniversary month just like May (or was it March?) was Voyager's VALIANT's anniversary month.

In the past the con has taken place on the last week of August and it may happen again sometime in the future, but even if it doesn't I think it be a good idea to put something in the book every year starting next year (and for as long as VEI publishes VALIANT comics) to conmemorate these anniversaries, even if it's a month earlier (which is due to the con taking place a month prior to the release of the hc).

Anyone going to record the panel? If that's possible, please do. I've got to hear what MOTA is going to ask / preach to these guys.

Don't take it personally.

I was hoping Jeff Gomez would be there. I wanted to personally thank him for some advise he gave me a few years ago, but I see his name isn't on the list.

Have a great time at the show, MOTA. You seem like the kind of guy who would enjoy it for all the right reasons.

If I attend the panel I'll record it. I have no clue when the panel is in regards to my schedule...but if I'm free then I'll go. I'll have the digital voice recorder with me if I do go...so I can upload it right away for all you non-attendees. :)

For all you attendees: go to the Arcana booth and buy yourself a copy of Philly #1... :)

From what I've heard of the con so far, this seems like a good year to go.

21 hrs and nine minutes till the plane departs

Airport's an hr away, so I'm gonna be there for about 3 hrs and 40 minutes.

It's an international flight so I have to be there two hrs before the flight departs.

Y'all have fun - and have a safe flight, MotA. Make sure you don't sit next to a Federal marshall bringing in a lovely female fugitive.

Some people spend their whole lives believing in fairy tales, usually because they don't want to give up the fabulous prizes.

I should be ok.

In all likelihood I'll be in the back of the plane next to the tough latino cop with a grudge.
