Yeah I love the coloring of the originals, hopefully it's more of a re-mastering than a re-coloring.
Any idea why they would do a re-coloring? Something production related?
The strap on Flamingo's outfit in one panel was added through color and not pencilled in.

That's probably ALL they're fixing... no? lol

I would've perfered Defiant's rebirth a bit more, but hey the classic Valiant works for me too.

Is this the most logical site for that particular preference?

I don't know....Secret Wars? Not for me. The planned ending to Unity 2000? Again not for me. Otherwise he has been creatively a very powerful force I'll agree.

Secret Wars is what started me collecting comics . . so crittical acclaim or not, it always has a special place in my heart . . like Shooter does . . . :)

Fair play - I will not disrespect the choices you make. :thumb:

It is simply a case of being my view that not all he has created is great, and some quite bad (which is true of any creative individual of course).

Article on the new Valiant

Post by StarBrand »

I've going to be writing a column about the New Valiant for www.comicnews.info.
I've already started a discussion about it on their forum in the name of helping to promote the new Harby trade.
I'm also going to be ordering big on it to sell on eBay.
Just doing the best I can to step up and support Valiant!

Is that allowed - selling an item which you don't actually have?

I guess I've decided it's kinda the same thing that comic dealers do. They have to order in advance too. My only issue is that after 45 days it's really hard to get any problems ironed out through ebay's system. So, we'd be past that by the time it got into the sellers hands. Many dishonest people have used this to their advantage. :-(

You nailed that one, Whov... I'm sure most people are honest with their pre-order type auctions, but as you say, certain unscrupulous people will use that knowledge to their advantage.

Doesn't look like anyone bit. :|

It would have been nice to see them get gobbled up.

The person selling it lists it as a TPB and not a HC in the title . . .

Why would anyone even look at the auction . .

I imagine the ones interested have already ordered it from their local shop or online comic place. Also, putting them up for sale on ebay this far in advance is bound to turn people off as well.
