Work in progress.
Am kicking myself, I thought I read no computer imagery, or something along those lines could of copy and pasted comic book titles and then just do the artwork.
Anyway, its done now, but not have time to finish all of it. Will get these two pages done, but had another two more in mind to complete the story.
Posting it now, as quite happy, but needs work.
Using marvel charactor may make this attempt void ~ but still fun

So for my entry, I decided to see how much wedding stuff I could add to an Valiant RPG event briefing (or a module would be the term I am used to from other RPG games).

It started out very basic but I had too many thoughts so I added much more.

I still have another Briefing I want to write, which is from the perspective of the bad guys, so the players can play evil characters and be on the bad side and get all of the back-story of the evil plan, but that isn't done yet, and may not be before the contest is over.

I have added the following wedding stuff:

Wedding invitation
Wedding timeline
Wedding Guest List
Wedding Meal
Wedding flowers
Wedding Band
Wedding vows for bride and groom
Wedding ring surprises
Wedding plot surprises/troubles

Lots of things happening and I included a big chunk of the Valiant Universe as far as characters and factions.


I have not printed these yet, and just finished now, so I won't be able to record a session playing it with anyone.

At least I'll have them printed so I can get pics of me with them at my table with dice tomorrow

In order to play the VRPG, they have quickstart rules listed in all of their free pdfs. Here is one as an example since this will tell you how to play.

This dropbox folder has the main 4 parts of the wedding from the heroes POV so it is completed (That is what is printed in the attached pictures). I was able to finish part1 of the Villains section only, but this does explain the plan from their POV and How harada Got in a position to control Gin-Gr.

I also did not include any of the character stat sheets from the VRPG in my documents since not all of them were released for free and I don't think its right for me to provide one of the biggest reasons to buy the PDF from them here. Besides the rules themselves, this is the biggest content that was created for the game by Catalyst games.

BTW: To be 100% clear, this contest is running until tomorrow evening right? I may have time if work is slow to finish the last bad guy one tomorrow.

Had a great time doing this.
Didn't finish to the standard that I wanted ~ but drawing and thinking about it was fun.
Had a few more pages in mine, but time got in the way.

My apologies. Don't know how it happened, but suddenly the last day arrived. Even had to be reminded (thanks).

My idea was to show what party it would be if Aric decides everything himself without listening to a planner (or even a diplomat). Wanted to illustrate an impressive medieval feast with quails, mulled wine and hundreds of other dishes but now it's time to sleep and all I have are Aric's proclamation to his people and the invitation to his friends.




Though I could not do this contest justice, I wish to thank the arrangers for once again providing a fun opportunity for us board members.

Thanks Bruce and Elery and Valiant for putting this on. This was lots of fun for me, I also bought the PDF of the Valiant Universe RPG and it was awesome, I'll write up a full review on it soon and post it in its own thread, but it is something that anyone could pick up and very soon be playing with a few friends especially with the Valiant knowledge many of you have. The PDF is only 10 bucks too.
