Did you ever get one?
My FCBD was spent celebrating the life of my late grandmother Jones. She was my last living grandparent so this week's been a bit tough on me. I wasn't able to make it to a shop but I did manage to reread the entire "Multiversity" series last night (much better the second time out)

In regards to FCBD, besides the Valiant book, I was eagerly looking forward to the Savage Dragon Legacy book; bummed to learn my LCS no longer had any when I called last night :( With the exception of a five year break, I have religiously read that book every month since 1992:)
The "Unity Suite" ... in progress ...

Are there different comics depending on the store? I didn't see a Captain Canuck.
Don't know, I was under the impression it would be available at all stores, never crossed my mind that it could of been country specific.

The LCS decides what books they want to order for FCD

FCBD at Comic Bug in Culver City. Actually, they held it at the Teen Center next door. They had a lot going on there. But I only managed to get one pick of me and Dysart.

James Asmus and Andrew Robinson were also there. I got all three to sign my hardcovers:

I did!

They told me "You're the only person we've ever made an exception to our 'No Exception' rule about holding FCBD comics for customers"...

I guess they like me there! It's even the first time they've held a book for me & I've been going there for several years... :D

Now there's a reason I regret not getting into the shop on FCBD - one of the co-owners of my LCS also co-owns the rights to Captain Canuck along with Richard Comely. I woulda snagged that book for sure.
