You haven't read MM? Did I read that right?Knightt wrote:I've made up my mind to go after my MM series in earnest. I've lucked into a few early issues for cheap and just have to give into it. The first time I tried to read it, I couldn't get into it... well that was years ago, maybe I have changed.
Hope so.
I can only speak for issues 1-9. I thought they were pretty good.

Wow, I had no idea.
I will admit that the stuff on the island could have been in 1 issue, not across 3. Just my $0.02. The art wasn't the best. It's the story that got me into it.
My other, and bigger beef with the series, is how MM doesn't want to use his powers.
I think that if I can find the issues, I will enjoy them this time around... of course I know everything leads up to issues 14, 15 and 16 for it's insanity and my wallet will surely acquire a permanent dent in it for the purchase of these but it will quite possibly be well worth it.
Besides, I have a great deal of Eclipse books that will one day soon require my attention. $hit, STILL have not completed my Scout run !!!

Re: Eclipse
Thought I might necro bump this for the sole reason of how influential/important Eclipse was. Hell, I doubt Manga wouldn't have become nearly as popular in the states without Eclipse's help.
Been reading Mr. Monster and DNAgents, both of them are pretty darned good

2 of my favourite series from the 80's, and I so wish both would get the full-on hard-cover collection treatment from an interested publisher.
VEI - I look forward to you one day publishing MORE than 9-10 books per month

Re: Eclipse
Both have only been sporadically collected unfortunately. Also kind of wish IDW hadn't stopped dead in re-printing Airboy after Volume 3 as I'm slowly coming to enjoy it (even though I originally thought I wouldn't)leonmallett wrote:I so wish both would get the full-on hard-cover collection treatment from an interested publisher.
