If VEI ever make a Saturday morning kids cartoon show ... This is what it should look like.

Love the Jay cover, specifically the Q&W characters. I'd like to see if V-Ditti can find a few fun lines for them in this issue (since they appear on multiple covers, and to integrate them into the Universe a bit more) instead of just being background characters (ala The Valiant) but I suspect that will probably be the case.

That being said, I think V-Ditti has plans for Saana, she just hasn't had a whole lot to do so far and this (plus Dead Hand) will probably change it. Just hoping they don't fridge her.

Well, if they wanted to do this in a traditional comic style, then Silk, Harada, the United, and IE should crash the wedding party. Then you'd have a Big-Free-For-All!!!!

Like when the Circus if Crime crashes the wedding of Yellow Jacket (aka Hank Pym, Giant-Man, Ant-Man and Goliath) and the Wasp.

Sure, marriage can be an interesting element to the X-O Manowar story. But I don't know why there is a need to market this as something "special" considering that Saana is a very peripheral character.

And yet another excuse for a VEI universe gathering in one story. Is that realistic?

Well, if they wanted to do this in a traditional comic style, then Silk, Harada, the United, and IE should crash the wedding party. Then you'd have a Big-Free-For-All!!!!

I think V-Ditti will make this event worthwhile and it can only help Saana's character. And that cover rocks, especially everyone's expressions.

I hope they would do something more along the lines of X-Men 30. I love that wedding issue.

Something else that occurs to me in looking at this right now - that's a mighty big batch of strong female VEI characters *still alive*, fighting over the bouquet. Shame we have lost a few others along the way, but nice to note just how many good ones there are...

It is a European Goldfinch that Aric saw they were in Romania. Apparently, Aric's wedding was such a big to-do that it decided to make an impromptu migration. Or maybe Aric brought it along on board the Vine carrier when they migrated?

They probably insisted on bringing their livestock and chickens, so not out of the realm of possibility that some finches may have hitched a ride too. Apparently, lots of people keep them as pets as well.
