It's funny I've had several conversations about pre unity Valiant late last year and early this year about the demand being at it's lowest in quite sometime...

I would have paid $600 2 years ago when I was trying to collect my 9.8 pre-unity set. A large part of giving up on the 9.8 dream was that finding a 9.8 Solar 10 was practically unheard of in the last few years. Even today if I had the cash.. well I'm going to stop thinking about it now..

It's bananas out there. People are now trolling Craigslist for Valiant. I'm buying up key issues in every shop I visit. Stuff I'd pass on for $.50 to $1 a month ago I'm jumping all over.

Theres a goodwill nearby with a long box full of old valiants including a bunch of trades but most had no bag n board so they got sticker prices right on the cover, I made sure to let them know they just ruined the value of em. Im sure they dont care but I was so mad!!

Actually, if this from Don who is doing this on Valiant FB groups it is cool and worth it ! (not sure who he on ebay, was going to ask but keep forgetting).
