One of my favorite pages of ANY VEI book. The creepy-ness is on par with parts of Shadowman #0.

VERY VERY cool.

And yes! Baby Darpan gives me the he bee gebees.

The way that Darpan intro was played up with so many pages in an early Harbinger issue made me think Dysart has big plans for the character. Hasn't panned out that way ... yet.

He had/has a big role in Imperium.

Sure, but he's not carrying that book. It's a tough character to build a complete story around, I suppose.

If you had to hoard a VEI book, which one would it be? :hm:

summer preview.

The first new VEI comic.
What about the 2008 Harbinger hardcover?
Didn't that have a new Shooter story, which was technically the first ever new VEI material?

Archer and Armstrong. First VEI appearance of EW, Ivar, Mary Maria, The Sect, 1%, Faraway, Boon, etc. in addition to the title characters.

Plus their two Zero issues and the Ivar release from temporal prison issue have tons of background and other goodies.

I am only speculating here but maybe because it was the origin of the Bleeding Monk and we find out he is not a good guy but may actually be the biggest villain of the Valiant universe? Or because we find out that he is existing in all points in history and the future which would make the Eternal family a target of his? Lots of points to that story that have yet to be explored so that's just a couple guesses.

And I could see a scenario in a future book where somebody getting their hands on that ancient Hindu spearhead could be really important.
