Which book did VEI put out first? I remember their FCBD issue was early on, but didn't they put out something before that?

With that cover, it could legit be argued this is the first VEI X-O appearance.

Easy to look up, I just don't have a spare second, but characters new to VEI that I think are important...

Bleeding Monk, Punk Mambo, Divinty, Mary Maria, Kay McHenry, the 1%, the Harbinger kids (from Harbinger Wars), Gin-Gr, Vine, and Malgam are all strong characters new to VEI. Those are the only ones that I could think of as being worth following, and of course are new.

New VEI characters with the biggest chance for movie app. Which will equal $$$$:

Bleeding Monk
Dr mirage (Shan)
Kay McHenery
Maybe Hidden Moon?
Darpan
The Vine
And of course......

Cronos!

I'll probably change the top post in this thread to contain a list of key VEI books, so keep working on identifying them everyone! :)

Harbinger #23.... Death of Flamingo, flips the VH1 template on its head
Shadowman #0 Exposition on the Darques
Shadowman #10 possibly greatest issue VEI has published to date
Unity #1... while nothing spectacular content wise; the title is an homage to VH1's greatest saga.. And
adds a team book to VEI's offerings
Rai #1... an highly anticipated book; a glimpse into 4001 world; unbelieveable artwork; though the plus edition is really where its at with the new japan map
XO#1.... puts VEI on the map; something old is now new, truly Reimagining VH1 universe
Divinity #1 ( I'm debating this one, but it does push the GK3 out the door; with a Solar riff)

:funnypost:

But I also count the summer preview as the first VEI book because it was the first new material that they published. Also first look of XO and Harbinger.

I would love Dr. Mirage showing up in a possible film. The mini was great. Appears to be underordered because sales looked really low. I wonder what the lowest ordered/sold issue would be from VEI? Probably not X-O.

Hmm, I don't know if I'd call it a "key" issue seeing as its reboot ninjak. But thats interesting that it "could" become a sought after issue in respect to this new incarnation of Ninjak. I just don't think people put much stock in first appearances anymore than #1 issues ( not true first issues but rather books with #1 on the cover, seeing as how often they are renumbered nowadays)

Unfortunately it is not Ninjak's 1st app. Great book. And I like the new Ninjak better than the old, but not 1st app.
