Cool to see. I wish there was more information though, but I suppose beggars can't be choosers.

I wish them luck still and hope for some Valiant movies eventually, but I wish there was a way they could control them in house and have all the IP's under one banner one way or another.

What we all want to secretly know is which storyline is being developed?

Any idea, if you don't want to share publicly drop me a pm. After I finished Starman Volume , may re read Bloodshot right throught from ve1 to current.

Would be interesting to know for when I am am reading through.
I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

Re: a potential movie, I wonder if it will have to be Hollywood-ised? A neat origin intertwined in the movie plot, ultimately explaining who Bloodshot is etc.

That said, the Bourne movies spun out the reveal over 3 movies, so that is possible.

But ultimately given the combination of Sony, the attached producer's credits list, possible budgetary contraints, the tsunami of upcoming MCU/DCU/X-men/maybe Spidey threeboot franchise movies upcoming (FF is a complete unpredicatble unknown), and other factors, *if* it does happen (still a very a big if IMHO), then I still remain pessimistic about whether a satisfactory movie would be made in those circumstances
VEI - I look forward to you one day publishing MORE than 9-10 books per month

But it looks like there IS internal funding for the Shadowman movie, at least at this time:
Said Valiant CEO Jason Kothari: “Shadowman is the first in a large slate of film projects that we are developing and funding internally at Valiant. Between Sean’s evidenced track record and Joe’s creative genius, we are very enthused about building a potential franchise here.”

I'm reading a lot of people being pessimistic and very concerned about the movies. It feels quite a bit like 2012 on over again. I remember when people were very questioning of how these comics were going to turn out. I think they've done pretty well with that when you agree? We're talking about a company that is been existence for more than 10 years even if they've only been publishing for 3. I think people need to calm down a little bit and realize these are not the type of people to make rash decisions just an effort to get their name out there. Just stay calm and realize they were publishing company first so they're not going to do anything that's going to damage that reputation. I mean it really is the difference between Marvel and DC. One took their time set up the universe with the plan and the other one rushed it to get their name out there. And I think that definitely shows in the product on the screen as well as the box office. So let's get these guys more credit that is currently being given them for using their heads in doing this right. I'm not trying to step on anybody's toes or upset anybody but I think that they deserve more support for what they've done with these properties than what they're currently being given. Okay I'm all done with my  . Have a great weekend everyone! :high-five:

Good rant, Ramses. I'm very stoked Valiant is funding these movies internally. Also, thanks for the link BTE!
