I really like LaRosa's use of Copic Markers to cleanly blend shades to give dimension to each element (e.g. suit and sky).

But the colors REALLY did me in, as the holy / spiritual combination of blues and whites are quite rare and did not exist in my collection. I wanted to buy sooner, but Christmas, two sets of braces for the family and both A&A covers set me back a bit. Very happy to have snagged it up.

Another awesome cover! When I posted this image on Instagram, it became one of the "most liked" images around that time. I try to predict which images will REALLY take off, but am often surprised (some are incredible, but receive little love...).

However, DIVINITY #2 is a case where good art gets its due. SWEET GRAB!

Picked up these trio of Clayton Henry pages, glad he was not going digital during his HW and Harbinger run.

First is the splash page from Harbinger 23, with Harada facing off against Pete in Pittsburgh

Second is the BIG battle between the Renegades and Harada. Where Toyo wipes the floor with them.

Last is a Harby War 1 page, Generation Zero's first appearance, with The Telic (Tara), Cronus (Christian), and Animalia (Monica Jim) escaping from the Project Rising Spirit compound.

Great pages as well Anthony ..... It's really cool to see just how clean Clayton's pencil work is. I guess a lot of artists are going digital now , I know most of Paolo Rivera's work on The Valiant is digital.

No kidding! I'm holding the A&A #9 & #10 covers right now and seriously, you don't really understand the quality of Clayton's work until you see it up-close and in person. The perspective is spot on, and the lines are smooth, crisp, and used only when/where needed.

Honestly, (while I know it can't possibly be true) it looks as though there are litterally ZERO mistakes and/or re-work on these pages. Like he knew what he wanted, and just drew it. The FIRST TIME.

It might've been one of Mico Suayan's covers he was/is interested in.

I looked at two of Mico's BS:R #1 covers this week, and likely would/will snag one up before long. I picked-up four LaRosa covers and two Henry covers this past month so, at least for now, I'm unable to get any of Mico's work.

Lol, I'm just doing a little "spring cleaning" around the house and need to find a new home for a few Key-Marvel Signature Slabs I found collecting dust...

...or, you could also say that I am liquefying certain assets to invest in others.
