Q2: The Return of Quantum and Woody #2

This issue was definitely an improvement over the last! Due to Christopher Priest's non-linear style of writing, the first issue of Q2, while not bad, was just plain confusing. Thankfully things are starting to come together. This issue wasn't fantastic, but it was entertaining. It's just a shame that it feels like short three scenes, then it's over.

I would agree, I liked the first issue, but I really loved this one. It just felt really right to me. Like I was reading the next issue from the original series.

I loved the random covers in the back from "missing" issues. I think they could make another whole miniseries just out of issues like that. it would feel right, since the original series sort of ended abruptly like that with #32 anyway.

I wish the story would just stay in the present with the Kojo vs Eric/Quantum storyline.
I'm not impressed with the flashback tales.

As someone who never read the Acclaim Q&W, this is still confusing. Not really sucking me in at all. How many Quantums and Woodys are there? Who are the originals, or are they still in action? Are those action scenes flashbacks, or not?
huh?

Just got around to reading this since I just received my monthly shipment of books a few days ago. Loved it. It's nice to have Priest and Doc working in comics again.

I enjoyed this a hell of a lot. The kind of comic I would love to see more of.

I enjoyed #1 a lot, but this felt stronger in terms of direction and pacing. :thumb:

I thought the covers were a great touch too. :)
