depluto wrote:100 words is easy ...

Run down the book's basic details, mention whether the writer and artist did a god/bad job and talk for a sentence about whether or not you would recommend this book.

105-word example: The trade paperback Name Here covers issues xx-xx of the Valiant comic, Name Goes Here. This book covers the story arc where (Plot goes here and here and here and here … no spoilers). The Action and the Intrigue and the Story and maybe a little bit of romance.
Writer Name Here goes above and beyond telling the story of this and this. And the art of Name Here perfectly captures the mood with vibrant art and cleverly drawn panels.
If you’re a fan of anything I just mentioned, be sure to pick this one up. This was an easy choice to give X stars.

See? Easy. Now get to work!

Can let you know in the morning.
Thanks Bruce
Chris,

Just did a quick check on all three Amazon sites and as of this writing all three sites show you have done 14 reviews. As is often the case, it took a bit of time for them to all post, but that is the count as of now. Only 16 more per site to do

We can confirm that "Yes", it IS the NYCC exclusive figure which you can purchase as a fully qualified participant in the Round #3 promo. :high-five: As the CBR article mentions, there will only ever be 150 of these in the NYCC exclusive format, with future issues of this being different. At only that few, it will be a rarity, plus being the first one put out by VEI it should be in high demand.

Hopefully yet another reason for the signed up participants to get their reviews done :thumb:

Looks like I'll have to see if the UK and Canada ( :censored: ) reviews will post quickly as I'll be without Internet for a week starting today. I'll do the review in Evernote and paste into Amazon when I get home on the 4th. :hope:

I am up to 20 at the US site, and will be doing 3 more tonight. That leaves a final 7 to do tomorrow (still trying to keep it at 200 words).

I will try to copy them tomorrow. Hopefully it won't take TOO long.

From posts and PMs I have gotten, it looks like we may have as many as 11 fully qualified members from this round to date. Will confirm that shortly.

But it brings up the question, if you are a fully qualified participant, any thoughts on the XO vinyl figure? Will you be placing an order to ensure you get one of these that are limited to only 150? Or will you be passing? It's just idle curiosity because we have enough set aside by VEI to ensure that if all participants qualify, they will be able to purchase one, but I am curious what everyone thinks since they now can see what this figure is like :?

I would rather have seen a regular action figure. Still cool, though. I'll get two if possible; one to keep in a box and one to put on my desk.

How much will they cost? (I might have missed that somewhere).

Depending on cost, I may be interested in up to 2 (if possible, one for my daughter who covets my penguins). I will have to check if she wants one.

Finished all reviews on the main site, have to copy 20 more over to the .ca and .uk sight.

I think the figure looks great. I would just get one though.

All of Shadowman books are done, leaving just Bloodshot and the last Q & W trade (by my reckoning).

Slogging through the reviews now, some of the books I didn't like and these reviews are to hard to write but I'm being honest.

At least Amazon won't think it's rigged because up until now I have been fairly gushing in my reviews, the one I just did was a "do not like" and there is a "hated it" coming up.

I'm in for 2 figures one for me and one for Tuga, thanks Bruce.

If we are allowed more than one ...... I will take two.
I understand if numbers are restricted.
But I am definitely in.
I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

Put me down for one please Bruce, if we are able to get two I probably would, so I could keep it in the box as well. :thumb:

Thank you for setting all this up Bruce and Elery and of course the good people at Valiant. :)
