If I win an argument, it doesn't mean I'm right. It means I'm a better arguer.

In addition, I'm right.

Cripes, I remember when those were a "WTF is that? " item.

I am ALL KINDS of sentimental today. Not the best price (acceptable I imagine) but a deviate blast from the past. I have one in dingy condition but it holds a lot of value to 'me'.

Mantra #5 Newsstand Variant (when variants were just that and not your monthly variant cover for that title)

I think Prelate posted a picture before:

I guess I got lucky back in the day, the store in Milwaukee I used to go to had all the Ultraverse newsstand variants, so I've had them for years.

I think so, I believe they had a couple copies of a few of them.

That store has a fantastic amount of back issues (a basement full, plus a vault full of their more valuable stuff), but they don't let anyone down there to look around. Only once a year during their New Year's sale. I probably would have spent a lot more money with them if they had let me. :?

Here is a Cyberrad v2 #1 with Hologram and Gold Foil

http://www.ebay.com/itm/CYBERRAD-VOLUME ... 1421465417" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I won one of these on eBay a couple of months ago for around that price, maybe a dollar or two less. It does not pop up all that often that I know of.

Pretty sure i dont have this, but not much chance of copies surfacing over here with sigs or coas in good grades. They are animals over here on 90's indy books even with coa.
Still amused by a gold version of something like this having a print run of 2,500 :O
A small indy book would probably be happy with that now hahahaha ;)
