I agree. Archer 0 gold. What would be 2nd? VEI Archer 1 Gold?

Certainly VH1 A&A Gold is the top choice - it has always been a solid book and I grab one anytime they go for under $25 (which never happens anymore)

For VEI I think the Gold 1 would be the top price wise but it is pretty limited - the Neal Adams 1:100 might pick up some steam as well and while not a ton out there, more would be available to keep the demand and movement high

God, what if they cast Jack Black or Seth Rogan as Armstrong? Then all of our comics would be better used as packing material.

Somewhere someone suggested Mark Addy (probably best known as Robert Baratheon on Game of Thrones). He would be perfect I think.

Perhaps better known as Bill Miller from Still Standing. That was a funny show.

I know him as the guy in The Full Monty.
I say Sammo Hung for Armstrong and Tony Jaa for Archer. Just put them in white face and marvel as every other film in the universe is made obsolete.

Very astute observation. I had two copies of VEI's A&A 1 first print listed at the full cover of 3.99, and both sold yesterday. I noticed mycomicshop sold all five copies listed in vf at 2.69 ea yesterday.

After the announcement I had a pack of 5 A&A #0 sell almost instant for $24.99 after they sat in my eBay store for nearly a year...

I think A&A 0 and #1 could easily hit $10 if more people start jumping on. Not unreasonable for a first-appearance with not that high of a print run (110k I think?).

Yeah, I'll pass on investing in Youngblood #1. Despite what the writer of this article said, you can still find this book at almost any comic show in the bargain bins.

If someone really wants some Youngblood items that might have some value, pick up the ashcans Image did back in the day or the Youngblood trade paperback that was published by Diamond, in the same vein as the Valiant Unity Diamond books.

Yes this book will always have historical importance. But it will also be infamous because like the article said it is the start of the Speculator boom, probably actually more just in the swing of it but it definitely contributed to marvels bankruptcy and all the problems we have experienced since.

No, you don't want that Youngblood Diamond TPB. Just let me know if you find one cheap and I will take care of it.

...after I get one, then you (in the general sense) can go out and buy them all.

Glad I picked a physical copy up last week in my LCS. It's a good book. If the story holds up, then I could see this becoming popular. What's the print run? Image seemed to market it pretty heavily, so I bet it sold a bunch of copies.

Winter World has been brought back by IDW. The original first issue from Chuck Dixon, circa 1987, is selling for bank. Not sure if it was before the new series or not. To me 1987 is modern. So, sue me.

I didn't realize this book had any history. If it's Eclipse, does that mean McFarlane owns it?
