Re: Only The Valiant Podcast
loved the out takes at the end.
Their was a great 'off the cuff' comment near the start, that made me laugh.
Will have to re play the episode, and find that gem.
Listened to episode 5, I got grammar raped by that episode.
But I did understand the background of peoples rants ~ litigation lawyer, yes words are important.
I personal do not use text message abbreviation, but understand it.
Strange that you suggest that people do not read complete posts by people.
If I read a thread ~ I read a thread.
My response my not be coherent.
If I needed more literary skills to improve my life, or succeed / improve my business ~ I would have more care.
Really enjoying the quality of the early podcasts ~ thought their would be an obvious learning curve, but very good straight from the start.
But from what I gather ~ not many people actually read long posts ~ and mine must have been avoided for fear of burning your eyes with my clearly poor writing skills.

Great episode. Loved the talk about the extra material in the Plus edition as well. We forgot to cover that in our recording. Oops lol.

Dude! Just do a plus edition of Valiant Podcast to cover it!Chris Campbell wrote:Great episode. Loved the talk about the extra material in the Plus edition as well. We forgot to cover that in our recording. Oops lol.
When I read Rai #1 for a third time, after we recorded, I realized that there was a lot of stuff I missed. Maybe we'll try to do this as well. We may be able to pull that off.
Hmmm....

Re: Only The Valiant Podcast
Good episode, you guys covered a lot. Even brought up a few things I hadn't thought of or noticed myself. The whole Spylocke is Ninjak thing specifically. I found myself wondering how Ninjak could have time traveled. Detour through the Faraway? Anyway to me it shows the greatness of this first issue, Kindt has so much jam packed in there you could talk about it for HOURS and probably still not cover it all. The Crain art likewise can be looked at over and over and you discover new thing as you do.

Very good episode indeed. I had my digital copy pulled up on Comixology to look at while you guys went over it. Still can't wait to have that physical book in my hand though.

We're trying out a brand new feature here at OTV: OTV Small Talks.
They will be short episodes about a wide variety of topics.
Up first, more discussion about Rai #1, it's an OTV Plus Edition on Rai #1:

Boo ya!
I enjoy this so much I spoiler-ed rai #1 since I can't wait for my shipment from Ed to check it out.
OTV just isn't the same without all you guys together.
Like PB without the J, or the Bleeding monk with no blood trails or dunlow without canadian *SQUEE*.
The whole is greater than the sum of its parts!

Where are we going and why am I in this hand-basket?

Re: Only The Valiant Podcast
Heard the canadian edition.
At first, I thought OTV had decided to out~source to a foreign country. Like all successful companies to to lower costs.
But then I remembered in latter episodes, I wan't hearing eh? at the end of sentances.
So it did semi work on me for about 3min, untill I recalled that with the Rai 1 and convention edition you guys weren't on it.
I remembered it was an April edition and checked the date.
Still fun.
*SQUEE* down with rain, so will listen to another few episodes
