Can I get some info on this book
So I just found one of these. (this is not my listing)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ultraverse-Ultr ... 48574e6fc2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I'm thinking this one is waaaaaaay over priced, but can any one tell me an estimated value. thanks

Re: Can I get some info on this book
Common. Common, common, common. Also one of the best executed gimmick covers ever.
At one point, depluto (I think) ordered a grip of these on Mile High Comics for $1.88 a piece. I threw more than a few in as freebies when I sold books way back when.
The hologram itself is amazing. If you hold it at certain angles, you can see the colours in the cover. The hologram is also the busiest hologram that Ultraverse put out. The other hologram covers were much simpler and cleaner.
I don't have a good idea of a price but these are probably less than $10. Maybe $5. I would not pay more than a couple of dollars because I have a few already and have had so many.

I would love a copy if anyone on the board is willing to sell. I loved me some Ultraverse and love holograms in general. Always wanted one of those.

Here's one that didn't sell at $3.99 plus shipping:

Malibu did collectors no favor when they did a series of collectible gold hologram books, then threw in a very common one for Ultraforce with the same type gold hologram cover.

Print run on the Ultraforce golds was 5,500 ... print run on the other seven golds was 200 or less.
Beautiful books, though.

Re: Can I get some info on this book
yeh I thought that, their was a lower number of hologramms in some form, didn't know it was the gold versions of the other books.
For some reason I thought it was the silver version.
Off hand do you know the print run of the silver version?

There wasn't a silver version of Ultraforce; the other seven had print runs of 5,000 each.Phantom wrote:yeh I thought that, their was a lower number of hologramms in some form, didn't know it was the gold versions of the other books.
