This was supposed to be an April Fools' joke on our listeners, but in the end, Chris, Josh and Mark played a joke on us by making a really great episode.

This started as a joke, and it turned into a really great episode. You can't trust Canadians, eh!

We were actually hoping to get at least some hate mail or nasty comments in this thread. I joked to the guys yesterday that we must have tried too hard to make a good episode

Does that mean that we won't get "Enemy of the Show" status like those Only the Ultraverse losers?

I felt like I connected with Mark the most! Only because Ive seen t the movie Goon 300 times! Halifax Highlanders Eh! Haha

You didn't miss much. It was mostly a discussion about curling and hockey with a little bit about determining the optimal number of Tim Hortons per city block.

OTV Canadian style was great! Mark, Grendel and Hawkeye brought their A game (to coin an Americanism!) and I can't believe it was their first attempt at podcasting!

Enjoyed the Unity 5 discussion, lots of interesting points raised. On the guy with 3 different names I thought that was an editorial error?

I feel the need to point out the way you all pronounce the word 'about' is peculiar to me but I'll let that pass!

Anyway, I was well impressed with you guys and I hope to hear you reprise your podcasting skills again!

I knew it was an April Fools episode, what with you turning the Canada dial past "Red Green Show" up to "McKenzie Brothers", but I have to admit, towards the end, I was hoping I was wrong and you guys were staying.

Maybe the "All New, All Different" OTV could team up with the original OTV and form a supergroup?

I thought the Canadians did a hell of a good job ... I'd also like to see them back on the show in some manner. Maybe check with them in a month or two when the snow clears up a little bit. I don't think they can reach their cars right now.

It was a huge pleasure to pay tribute to OTV like we did and the positive response has gone way beyond anything I had ever expected.

And by the way Sean really did all of the heavy lifting helping us with how to record it, and he did all of the editing. He also set the tone right away recording that great little intro that he did. I was sitting there with my mic on mute listening to him on Skype just thinking to myself...oh man this is gonna be fun

Haven't finished the episode yet, but I wanted to give some preliminary opinions/questions:

1. I have to reassess my order of hatred for the three of you. My previous order of hatred (from most to least hated) was MarkRoseHFX, grendeljd, then hawkeyeps. After listening to you guys speak, it has become obvious that hawkeyeps is Canadian Prime. He is the most Canadian person I've ever been exposed too. MarkRoseHFX, oddly, is the least Canadian of the three.

I guess I can settle for holding down second place.

After listening to the edited final version, I must say I'm surprised at how strong my own accent is... I swear it doesn't sound that way when it's coming out of my mouth!

2. The lady introducing you guys - is that Mrs. grendeljd? I assume it is, because what women would ever be caught dead with hawkeyeps and MarkRoseHFX

It was indeed! If you listen really close to the bit when we were comparing Quebec'ers to Texans, she contributed the term Quebexan's to the conversation as well...

It hurts my feelings that I wasn't invited to host the show with you guys. I thought we were buds, eh? Off to drown my sorrows at a Chalet Suisse and cheer myself up with some Corky and the Juice Pigs music.

it's only Chalet Suisse in Quebec and about 1/2 of New Brunswick. And if you're in Canada you don't have to ask where the nearest Tim Horton's is, throw a rock and you'll hit one. It's like asking where Starbucks is in Seattle. are you really Canadian?

What?! Everything is melted here now - no more 6 foot piles of shovelled snow on my front yard. How is it the complete opposite from when we recorded the podcast?! This country is nuts! Lol!
