Is an X-O Movie the way to go?

Please, no PG-13 Bloodshot!!! It could be done in an R rating, and it could work. All you have to do is do it right, like if The Rock were to do it, drop the half humor and no wrestling moves, put an emphasis on Story and lots of Action, have John McTiernan direct it, that would work very well!
