Actually all water is "eternal" there is no more or less of it than there ever has been, it just changes state and moves around.
Quite possible that bottled water was at one time dinosaur whizz.

It's pretty probable we were all dinosaur whizz at one time. Just as every element in your body heavier than iron was once formed at the core of some long dead sun.hawkeyeps wrote:Actually all water is "eternal" there is no more or less of it than there ever has been, it just changes state and moves around.

But water ain't forever. The hydrogen and oxygen maybe, but water can easily be broken down by electrolysis or absorbed into other molecules.
Interesting thing about water: Due to the crystalline nature of ice, water becomes less dense when it freezes, that's why it floats. If it didn't, life on Earth would be very different since many of the fresh water creatures burrow into mud and hibernate during winter. If it sank, the bottom of every lake would be a solid block of ice and probably kill all of the algae and plants and amphibians, etc each winter.
Oh man. Did I just Chiclo?

Re: Gilad's Drink of Choice
Water has a lot of odd properties, like hydrogen bonding that keeps it's boiling point high for a relatively low molecular mass. Water should evaporate at a much lower temperature but it kind of "sticks to itself" with hydrogen bonding.hawkeyeps wrote:Yeah water is freaky it doesn't compress, I know that from my pneumatic days.
Okay. No more high school AP Chem. I promise.

That's not specific to water. That's one of the properties that defines a liquid.hawkeyeps wrote:Yeah water is freaky it doesn't compress, I know that from my pneumatic days.

Water is pretty easy to break down, chemically. It is so common for water to be broken apart chemically that they teach children in elementary schools about the substances that do it - acids and bases.hawkeyeps wrote:Actually all water is "eternal" there is no more or less of it than there ever has been, it just changes state and moves around.

That being said, it is entirely possible that the water in my glass next to my keyboard was at one point dinosaur whizz.
