Archer and Armstorng should not have disapeared during chaos
does everyone remember in chaos effect omega, when all the guys were fighting zombies, as well as madame noir? well, when dr mirage unleashed his super blast which killed the zmbies, noir, and the immortal enemies body as well. It should have also destroyed Darques 'Shadowman'. therefore, Archer, Armstrong and Geoff would never have been taken away.

It was a strange ending, poof no more Archer & Armstrong - but Rai #0 tells the reader they will still be around.
One thing I can say about Chaos Effect it was chaotic, very few of the "group" books even followed the 'event' they were just grouped together to see how they handled how the effect "touched" them
The "shockers" were Magnus coming to present day, Archer & Armstrong vanishing and Master Darque getting popped
I was really disappointed with the 'event', but I somehow did enjoy the Magnus/Destroyer/Rai/Psi-Lord 'grouping'.
It would have been "interesting" if Rai from UNITY was 'saved' as a result of CE or something that would suggest that Rai #0 might be changed

something as simple as "finding a cave" that leads back to the present time would've been a fine way to bring them back...i believe that the valiant higher ups realized that no one was ever gonna do this title justice after barry left, so they simply axed it. if they ever convinced barry to come back they could bring them back. it would be great if mr layton would shed some light on this subject-and if he woiuld answer you original post about darques shadowman.
what ish did darque get popped in? i don't remember that-but i skipped many of the titles...still haven't read them all.

Was it ever explained what started the Chaos Effect? All I could figure out is it had something to do with Timewalker. Also I think Magnus spends a lot more time then they showed hanging out in the present. Solar sends him back to his time with his face all scarred up. How did this happen? There are a lot of holes and loose ends regarding the Chaos Effect.
heres a timeline from the ValCon Bible
3270 BC
The birth of IVAR THE TRAVELER, called IVAR THE
FIRST; Gilad and Aram's older brother.
3268 BC
GILAD ANNI-PADDA, also known as GILAD THE ONE, is bom in ANATOLIA - the Asiatic part of modern Turkey.
3266 BC
ARAM THE OTHER, brother of GILAD ANNI-PADDA is born.
3257 BC
GILAD'S first battle.
3250 BC
KALAM, GILAD'S son is born.
3241 BC
GILAD and ARAM are left as the only survivors of their tribe after a counter-attack by soldiers from a walled city in Mesopotamia. Kalam is taken and raised as the son of a nobleman from the city.
3000 BC
GILGAMESH, KALAM'S son becomes the inspiration for one of the greatest heroic stories ever told - and one of the first great heroes. Kalam's second son, MIS, founds the city of Ur.
If I'm not mistaken, Ivars first appearance was in Eternal Warrior 8/Archer and Armstrong 8.
Hope this helps some

Ivar travelled to the end of time, then travelled back to 1994, bringing with him all the chaotic energies which were around during the end of the universe.Christopher Martin wrote:Was it ever explained what started the Chaos Effect?
Also, A&A could have easily come back from the Lost Land. Remember, time is not absolute there. They could have returned 5 years later and only have aged 5 weeks or so.

I always wondered why Kevin VanHook never got a shot. His Solar Christmas story proved he was as adept at comedy as he was at action and drama. I think he coulda turned it around. Ah, woulda, coulda, shoulda....dave wrote:...i believe that the valiant higher ups realized that no one was ever gonna do this title justice after barry left, so they simply axed it.
