Fables game coming out

Just saw on Joystiq that Telltale is making a game based on Fables revolving around Bigby. Looks pretty cool.

I thought this tread was going to be or the remake of the orginal Xbox game or maybe even Fable IV from Lionhead Studios.

When I met Willingham at SDCC the first time, I asked him about Fables.

He told me it is the story of the redemption of the Big Bad Wolf.

The Wolf Among Us is out today (well yesterday now) on PSN for the PS3. $4.99 for Episode 1. I'll be checking out the demo this weekend!

I heard it got okay reviews. I got Season 1 of The Walking Dead game this past weekend and it's REALLY good. And I was always a fan of Telltale's Sam & Max games since they started making them, though I haven't played The Devil's Playhouse yet (wouldn't run on my PC, so I kind of wasted 20 bucks. :? I'm sure I'll eventually get them to run on a newer PC sometime, though, it's not like they're going anywhere )

I can see that. Have you kept up with the book? I know we were both down on it around the time of The Great Fable Crossover, but is has been incredible since then. Especially the last 40 issues or so.

Not that I would care. :twisted: I just picked up the last 6 issues and made sure it was in my pullbox so I don't fall behind again. Last issues I read were apparently a few years ago around issues 110-115. Been :!: waiting for the Deluxe HC's to come out.

So has anyone PLAYED the game yet?? :roll:

I've been waiting to see if it's good or not to put me over the edge on buying it.
It's not that I don't have an avatar... I've just been working on it for the last few hundred years.

I quit about a year back and it was terrible then, so I'm not sure about 40 issues.
