2013 Valiant Preview Sketch card thread

Just pulled up the issue. Oh my.. It's the armor, disguised as a bike, that attacks people. I do believe this is just bad enough to be funny good. I now know what I'm getting sketched on my flipbook.

Surprise! Yeah, it's a bicycle. You can imagine how many readers (me included) were surprised when we read that issue all those years ago. And if you don't get that on a sketchbook, I definitely am.

Ya gotta wonder how stuff like that gets by the editorial board. But the real culprit isn't the guy who came up with the idea in the meeting room. It's the second guy who says "Yeah, that's a great idea!" It's his fault.

This thread is making me think about diving in and buying a pack.

You're absolutely right. If someone had just stood up to George Lucas, the Star Wars prequel trilogy wouldn't be the huge pile of *SQUEE* that it is.

Oh, and nice cards. I'm seriously impressed by how good the art is on some of these.

If you're thinking of buying another I would just wait until the regular boxes come out and crack one of those open. It probably won't be much more than a pack of the preview cards.

The regular boxes are going to come with unique sketch cards too?
