Great Review. I think you've done the longest reviews on each TBP i have ever seen.
On a tangent, 1/2 of the "extra" project has arrived in Los Angeles!
Now we are waiting on the other 1/2. Stay tuned.

FINALLY! The 2nd half of the "extra" as finally left NYC and is enroute to Elery in LA. I spoke with him today and he is prepping shipping on the 22 "extras" that are headed his way. When they arrive he will combine the first 1/2 which went from LA, to NYC, to VT, and back to LA with the 2nd half. Can't believe this has taken this long but once you all get them, we can share the backstory on this whole thing and you'll totally understand. Must say that I can't wait to read the reactions of everyone when they get this in their hands.
Working on yet another project to coincide with NYCC in OCT. but this time we're doing all we can that we do not experience a delay like we did with this one. Hopefully we will learn how to do this both better and faster with future projects.

I'm gonna be there. Anyone else?brucehartshorn wrote:Working on yet another project to coincide with NYCC in OCT. ...
It kills me that I've never been to SDCC. But of all things, my wife looked at me the other day and said "We should take a vacation and go to the SDCC someday...".
I think my late-night hypnotic suggestions while she's sleeping are starting to pay off. She hasn't mentioned a threesome, though, so I can't be sure.

I always love when my women have come out with stuff like this in the past. BEST thing in the world!
I've never been to *any* comic convention, so I can still only imagine what they're like, but hopefully I'll get along to one one day. Not sure I want to make the trip all the USA to go to a 'proper' one though!

I don't think she's ever read a comic book but she's definitely into the culture. The other night I mentioned that the new Wolverine movie was the sixth X-Men movie and started to recollect the other five. She proceeded to rattle off the events of the others in a way I found surprising; she remembers more about them than I do.Shadowman99 wrote:I always love when my women have come out with stuff like this in the past. I'm guessing that's because she doesn't have to separately keep track of the continuity of the X-Men in mainstream Marvel, Ultimate Marvel, cartoons, etc.? I've never really followed the X-Men in anything but the mainstream Marvel titles, but I don't remember all of the events in the movies either. Certainly not the third movie, because that was awful.jmatt wrote:I don't think she's ever read a comic book but she's definitely into the culture. I thought all films were "okay", but Juggernaut really disappointed me in the third film. I was really hoping he'd be a CG character and be as massive as he's supposed to be, but instead I got Vinnie Jones in a red jumpsuit complaining he needed a wee...

Or anything else comic book related, for that matter. She's got 20 Marvel movies to remember, I have 10,000 back issues I'm trying to keep straight.kjjohanson wrote:I'm guessing that's because she doesn't have to separately keep track of the continuity of the X-Men in mainstream Marvel, Ultimate Marvel, cartoons, etc.?

Ok! The second half just arrived at Elery's! Now he will put the two halves together to make a whole, and ship them to the group of 22 in the next few days! Can't express how anxious Elery and I both are for the group to get these and tell us what you think. As promised, after that we will post the most interesting backstory, along with info about round #2! If you thought It Just Even Better to be a Valiant Supporter for round 1, you'll have to ramp that up considerably for round 2.

In addition, I'm right.
