Re: Unity
Maybe more like Defenders...or Secret Defenders. But instead of Dr. Strange gathering heroes for a mission, its Ninjak and/or Neville Alcott, or even Kay McHenry.String wrote:Copyright laws are sooooo![]()
Unity as a superhero team......well, I can't see the Valiant characters working together so harmoniously as they do in Justice League. Since there would probably be some bickering, maybe even arguing, they'd be closer to an Avengers-type team.

Re: Unity
I am presently rereading the first hundred issues of The Avengers. Nearly every arc contains a scene where somebody gets cranky, they literally fight each other no-holds-barred for two full pages and then "cool off" and apologize to one another.String wrote:Copyright laws are sooooo![]()

I guess they were a little more testy in 1969.

But that's what makes them a better team in my opinion. Historically, members of the Justice League got along a little too well for my tastes. (Unless it was everyone's secret fear of Batman that held them in line

Could anyone please fill me in on the backstory of the Secret Weapons title? I know a wide assortment of characters appeared in it. But was it an 'official' team or a more loosely-based team? What brought them together originally or kept them together afterwards?
