Re: Bragging rights - your best deal of late?
I was kicking myself for not grabbing CGC 9.8 Bloodshot #3 Lozzi 1:20 Variant for $119 Buy-It-Now a few months ago.
Through a lot of soul-searching and accidentally stumbling onto this, I've finally been able to forgive myself.

Throw me one of those high-fives, for taking a pass on that book...I think there's some good buys for many VE1 slabs, I just have no interest in them anymore...greg wrote:I was kicking myself for not grabbing CGC 9.8 Bloodshot #3 Lozzi 1:20 Variant for $119 Buy-It-Now a few months ago.![]()

I love what CGC stands for on a regular-joe-consumer level, But I'll likely never own one. Good score man!

$40 shipped off Ebay landed me more 9.6/9.8 candidates than I was counting on.

And the best part is the Eternal Warrior 1 Gold Flat and #4 are the tighest of the lot.

I believe you were refering to my listings. I sold 3 Bloodshot #3 Lozzi for 1:20 Variants for $119+
Glad you picked yours up. BS#2 1:20 and BS#3 1:25 are very difficult to acquire in CGC 9.8's... (well... they are all difficult

I was the second purchaser of this book. I held off and only bought one because of some cryptic emails from the seller, I thought he was gonna ship the regular cover. I don't know who bought the other issues....

Re: Bragging rights - your best deal of late?
I'm starting to wonder how 'restricted' some of these retailer variants really are....we already saw the screw up on what was supposed to be a 1:50 for Issue 6. I find it very, very hard to believe this store ordered 500 copies of this book to have 10 1:50 variants.
And if they knew they were 1:50 retailer variants, I seriously doubt they would throw all ten books up for someone to grab each at $2.50/pop.

That's gotta be a Diamond error.GGSAE wrote:I'm starting to wonder how 'restricted' some of these retailer variants really are....we already saw the screw up on what was supposed to be a 1:50 for Issue 6. There's a tiny chance that the store ordered 500 to try to sell those 10 for $50 each and that someone else at the store (ebay manager) didn't realize these were limited.
I'm betting Diamond error.

Re: Bragging rights - your best deal of late?
I still don't know how that can happen, is Diamond sitting with a bunch of these things lying around? I would be super *SQUEE* if I paid $80 for this, only to hear stories of these hitting the shelves for cover elsewhere. I wonder if all the other copies were purchased from the same buyer.greg wrote:That's gotta be a Diamond error.GGSAE wrote:I'm starting to wonder how 'restricted' some of these retailer variants really are....we already saw the screw up on what was supposed to be a 1:50 for Issue 6.
