Rai Cover
Just thought Id share a nice piece I aquired recently. I cant really tell, but those colors almost look airbrushed. Was that a common technique?

Um...is that the production art?
The reason I ask is because before he auctioned it off, Joe P. included quality color copies of the original watercolors in his "Unity Files II" set. The information (and a scan of the H2O colors) can be found here:

Sorry, but something don't jive...

There is always the possibility one is the card color art and one is the
comic cover color art. Digging up a copy of the comic and card now...

They did do some airbrushing, but because that makes the originals sensitive, they often noted so. At least that's how it was later on.
Don't know what you call a good price, but the cover for Magnus 0 fetched $700 on eBay. And as has been stated, this looks like the original (apart from some really minor details which should be part of the printing process).Im actually considering selling it if I can get a good price.
Hard to tell as this kind of items rarely show up and it is not known were it went to or how. You could probably check the history of this art with JayJay Jackson.
If you sell your finds, any and all Magnus items are guaranteed a bid.
