I thought this part was kinda funny.
Yes, there will be goats. A throwaway gag used in an early issue of the original series, a goat captured fans' imaginations and came to represent the series for many.

Asmus is also in "the Goat Boat," he says. "He's the secret sauce — to be used sparingly but adding a lot. And I'm very happy to say that the backstory I wanted to tell for the goat seems to have guys at Valiant excited!

2 interesting tidbits on Bloodshot:

Harada is in possession of him at the end of HW and tries to reprogram him.

The history of Bloodshot goes back to WWII, including a 70s Bloodshot.

I peeked. Wished I hadn't. Major spoiler. I figured it was the minor preview-type spoiler. Warning for others. Oh well. I'll try to forget. I'll use alcohol.

Yeah, sorry. I kinda scanned the article and didn't realize all the stuff in there until I read through it later. I'll update the top post with more warnings. Feel free to have an extra on me :D

Wild Speculation Time!!

Well we have seen 70s Shadowman and 70s Harada and now 70s Bloodshot it's like Valiant is laying a lot of ground work in that era. What if a book came out that was entirely set in the 70s and revealed all kinds of cool back story? Maybe something like Neville Alcott's "Secret Weapons" featuring a younger Neville in charge of MI6's weird *SQUEE* squad dealing with all this stuff happening back in the 70s. Another interesting angle would be seeing MI6 before the Vine took it it over and how they eventually took it over.

Maybe a half and half book with flashbacks of Neville in the 70s and Neville now with Ninjak trying to rebuild MI6 to what it once was.

That whole meeting with Neville and Ninjak is a huge story that's just waiting to happen, rife with possibilities!

Since the Bloodshot line is going back to WWII maybe Rai is a samurai from that era :hm:

Or maybe he is a Kamikaze pilot?
