I've only played it a few times so far, but It's pretty cool. The on-screen controls leave something to be desired and I keep dropping dead for no apparent reason. It feels like an old school Nintendo game.

I hope this gets released in the Amazon app store. I've got a pretty good sized phone, Galaxy Nexus, but after playing games on my Kindle Fire HD, I rarely ever play games on my phone anymore.

What does it even do?

Also, don't mind the game. Main problems are the bloody ads at the top of the screen and the points board on the side. If they move the board to between the controls I'd be happy.

You can get rid of the ads for 800 coins.
You can buy those coins for $0.99 or just play until you earn them for free.

+1, also I keep dying because I get squashed underneath/between things :!:

that being said it's pretty fun, but a little simplistic and I don't like i can't dodge attacks (maybe that's just for Bloodshot)

Me too. I don't get much time on the tablet since my teenager is always on it chatting on facebook. Then I go and find it this morning in his room and of course it's totally drained of juice. So no chance to get on it this morning and play some.

I saw the video for the Contra Code... does it actually do anything besides the funny 'All your Bloodshots are belong to us' ?? Give any extra lives or anything useful?

I was able to get through all the levels in a day. so I hate to say it, but I don't play it anymore. I can't figure out what the incentive is to keep playing the same levels over and over again.

Is there a link to this Contra Code video?

Yeah I finished up the available levels the other day. They said they will release more levels to coincide as the series progresses. Not sure when the next update will be, though. Some levels took dozens of attempts to beat while others I passed on the first try. I enjoyed the game so far but not much replay value.

I think more levels will be released when new issues of Harbinger Wars come out...

As to collecting coins - it would be good if there were more options to choose from, as far as 'spending' them goes.

It "worked" in the sense that something happened. It drains all your life away immediately, so you're completely vulnerable. I'm not sure if they meant it as a joke, but that's what happens when I do the code. And I'm on Android.
