Re: Only The Valiant Podcast
Great work guys. I was about 5 episodes behind. Spent the weekend power reading a lot of Valiant books then listening to your podcasts to catch up. You would think after all that I would be burned out of Valiant. Both the books and listening to people talk about them. Quite the opposite! Pumped for what's coming.
In regard to your discussion of readers/collectors/ect. I see myself as a reader first and foremost. That's why I get all my Valiant on digital. But Valiant is the only books that I break my rule of never paying more than 1.99 for a single digital comic. They are worth going the extra dollar.
But I have noticed something about my reading habits. I tend to stick with a format for one series but another depending on how I started it. For example I read Walking Dead in trade, Valiant and others digital, Some DC in single issues. Might be my OCD but I hate changing formats within a single series.

Me too! I'm totally like this.the1captain wrote:Might be my OCD but I hate changing formats within a single series.
In my mind, some series are "issues" series, some are "trades" series, and some are "digital" series. It makes sense to me.

Re: Only The Valiant Podcast
I'm not the back issue diver I use to be. But after listening to the collectors discussion I might keep my eye out in the cheap bins at cons for the odd VH1 book I need to fill in gaps in my collection. Not into variants. Just a couple of books from back in the day to complete a couple of sets.Dr. Solar wrote:Me too! Wow. I am editing our conversation with Valiant from Wondercon, and am literally laughing out loud as I listen to it again.
This special edition podcast might be the most fun episode we've ever released. Will be up later today.

Elveen has a very specific reason to be extremely excited for this episode. It is something that you will hear in the first five or so minutes of the episode.

My guess... One of the Gen Zero kids has the same Psiot ability(abilities?) as Elveen and is based off of him...

It was cool to hear that they are working hard at a 4001 timeline.
But even when they are clearly inebriated they don't want to give up many teases ...very disciplined
I'm trying to make sense of the end ... the inside back cover of FCBD has a big reveal?
And Dinesh wrote a word that tells you what it "means"?
hmmm..

In the FCBD issue, there is something...
Dino showed us an image that hinted at a little more info about what that something is, was, or will be.
