Re: Only The Valiant Podcast
So I'm listening to the podcast right now, and I'm at the panel part......
Let me say......
If you are at a panel, don't take any of the time tell the dudes what they need to do, don't give them any suggestions on what they should do. (unless they ask).
IMO, panels are for asking questions and getting answers.
there is only a small amount of time to try and get answers.

Re: Only The Valiant Podcast
Did you catch what sounded like Dysart accidentally letting info slip out when he said the bleeding monk isn't 'from this world'?

I caught that the first time. There were a few points from the panel that "slipped out". There was also a few during the interview.greg wrote:Did you catch what sounded like Dysart accidentally letting info slip out when he said the bleeding monk isn't 'from this world'?
What happened with Toyo in the 70s? Josh said that Toyo has not had to fight since the 70s (or organize or something like that). What went down back then?
You also heard him say the circle on the Monk's chest is important.

Yes, all the monk clues made me think the bleeding monk may be a future Rai using the memory of the nanites to 'predict' the future.

Very interesting idea. Entirely possible if & when Ivar becomes 'The Timewalker' and brings the Bleeding Monk [or a 'RAI'] back in time from the future. Nanite blood might also explain why he is continually bleeding - kind of a tame 'grey goo' scenario...greg wrote:Yes, all the monk clues made me think the bleeding monk may be a future Rai using the memory of the nanites to 'predict' the future.

Maybe the bleeding man isn't a prophet... maybe his blood just contains nanites with files containing history stretching who knows how far into the future! He doesn't prophesy, he just tells what his files show is going to happen in the upcoming future. Because the blood was taken from the future back to the past at some point after having lived through it once in Bloodshot and maybe Rai (or many Rai's) as well!?!?
What do you all think? How would that be for a way to tie them all together in one neat bundle?

Re: Only The Valiant Podcast
This is gonna sound off the wall. Did anyone notice that the bleeding monk had blue eyes? It's probably because I read them back to back, but I saw the bleeding monk leaving and I thought he reminds me of an old Archer. Not saying he is, just a blue eyed bald guy in a monk robe made me long for the original Archer.

Good points! And great show this week; you guys talkin' about the "KnifeToTheHead" in Bloodshot #5 reminded me that there should be some poll for the most gruesome/bad*** moments after the December books.

Next... the EPIC WIN that was last week for Valiant (X-O 7/Harby 6)?

To borrow a line of thinking from the guest we had on tonight's recording, the next episode of OTV will be the best yet, tied with all the other episodes.Elveen wrote:Chiclo wrote:That was a fun recording.

Re: Only The Valiant Podcast
This is a little off topic, but has been bugging me for a long time since the Long Beach panel interview. Is the gentleman that introduces everyone on the panel someone that originally left the Only the Valiant Podcast earlier this year? Jonesy? The voice sounds so familiar. Just asking because it's been bugging me ever since I listened to the episode.
