I saw a dozen Saga ghost variants in my shop for $20 (they order heavy) but i've seen the price around $10 on ebay lately.

Yeah, that's definitely too high for this book.

If I could get it for $11 shipped, that's what I'm looking to spend on that one right now. I passed up a few for $13 shipped on ebay. It's likely to keep coming down still.

Trade? If you have a readily available want list for VEI or original Valiant, shoot it over. I'd actually rather trade for this because it's a book that's still coming down.

I paid $15 for it from the shop so no way I can do that in cash.

i'm mostly interested in TPB's and any little oddities. I've already got Magnus: Steel Nation, Solar Alpha and Omega, Rai, X-O, and Harby.

i'm also in Canada btw so the shipping would be higher on the trade just wanted to make sure you realized that.

I'll pass by my shop for the black friday deals and see how low they're willing to go on the variants.

Tradewise....I gotta update a list....right now I could use the new Spawn #225 sketch variant or newsstand versions of the Funnies 1-6 comics from Bongo.

Thanks for the offers, dudes, but I think I'm changing my comic focus. Partially due to interest.... partially due to fundage. The job I was working on didn't line up so I'm cutting back on my monthly books until I get something in place. Also, I've had some books piling up that I wasn't reading right away and that's usually a sign that I'm burnt out on new books and at $3 - $4 a pop, I should probably scale down to only the really, really great books.

So for now, I'm only planning on buying Spider-Man, Invincible, Chew, Saga, Walking Dead and Animal Man. I'll likely still get other stuff here and there, but that's all I'm pulling at an LCS now.

The only book I'd really still would like is the Saga RRP, but I'm fine waiting awhile for it. I'll also trade any Valiants I have or anything on my ebay account for copies of Saga #1 (1st print).

I'm officially burnt on variants so my zest for getting all variants is definitely gone as is my zest for getting nearly any variant. This is kind of how I felt back in the 90s as well right before I stopped collecting. I figure if I scale back to only the stuff that I truly love, I may find my interest in new comics again. In the meantime, I have shelves and boxes of stuff that I've never read before.
