Survey of XO #6 availability

With apologies for starting another thread on this, I thought it would be useful to have a snapshot of what XO 6 variants people have been found. There's plenty of debate about the issues elsewhere on the board so lets keep responses here to a brief summary of where in the world you are and what you've seen.

To kick off:

London, UK
Shop 1 - about 10 each of regular cover and Zircher. No CD.
Shop 2 -about a dozen regular, 1 Zircher on wall for £17. 1 CD on shelf for cover.

Big B Comics - 1 copy of the CD cover, 1 copy of the Zircher, and 4 copies of the regular cover. The CD & Zircher were held for me, at cover price for the CD & $50 for the Zircher.

I just went in today, I don't know what they had on release day last week.

I'm the only one who Orders Valiant at my LCS AtomicAgeComics in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

I don't know exact numbers but I saw a bunch of Zircher variants but most of them had damage on the bottom corner, and reg covers. no CD's.

I was set off by this whole thing last Wednesday and checked out 7 shops which is most of them in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

My LCS- regular only
Shop 2 (the big one)- about 50 total, Zircher about 1 in 10 (I bought the 2 nicest ones)
Shop 3- regular only
Shop 4- had 3 copies of Zircher stashed away marked at $36, I asked why he didn't have them out and he said he was confused and checking with the distributer to find out what the score was. He felt he received too many.
Shop 5- 1 CD cover (long gone) and the rest regular
Shop 6- this was by Friday 2 Zircher 4 regular (snagged another in really good shape)

I've got 3 Zirchers, 1 regular and no design variant, hope they ship next week

The Time Capsule (probably one of the busiest comic book shops in RI)

About 12-15 Total copies when I got there at 5pm

around 6 to 8 reg cover

around 4 or 5 Zircher

and 2 CD covers held at the counter for me "The Valiant Guy..."

15 total ordered. I got there 2 days after release day, they had pulled 1 of each cover for me accept the Zircher variant! I always check the wall just to be sure there wasnt something they missed. To my suprise I see 3 Zircher Variants! I snagg all three, of course since I was under the understanding that it was a 1:50 variant. I would have done the same even if it were a 1:20 variant. 1 thing I did notice was they pulled the CD variant for me and if my memory serves me corretly that was not on the wall with the regular cover & 3 zircher variants. There's no way for me to know exactly how many Zircher variants they started with but they had 3 when I got there, 1 of the CD and the rest were regular covers.

Not sure how many ordered but they had 1 of each cover pulled for me, no CD variant. They had what appeared to be a 50/50 split of regular & Zircher Variants on the wall.

2 Regular, 1 Zircher, no CD when I got there, owner could not remember if he got any CD or not, but his order DID NOT qualify for the Zircher

I had one of each pulled for me, the Valiant Guy at Pittsburgh Comics.

I paid cover for two of them, and a bunch for the other one.

I know there is one other REGULAR Valiant guy at the store, and a few others I have purchased into Valiant comics.

He told me that he only received on CD cover - but the order listed the other CD covers 'on back order.'

He also received a few extra 'Zircher' 1:50 variants. I know that he buys JUST ENOUGH to qualify for the 'rare' copies. Our deal is that I purchase any of the 'overrun' at cost. But he keeps most of them - for bins later.

Other LCS - 15 regular, ??? Zircher (none on shelf, but pretty sure he got a lot per conversation), 1 CD

Sounds like the cd cover and the variant copies got switched. My comic shop thought the cd cover was the variant and the variant was the 1/50 didnt order either. He Missed ordering my regular had to buy it from another shop i went in and said the cd cover was the pull box and that he should defedently order it for me this was the thursday.now he says he may not be able to get it for me at all. Im squeeking *SQUEE*. This fiasco cost me the pull box cover
And compleating a full set of cd covers from the line. now I have to beg you guys to sell me a variant cover or a cd cover??

Between TFAW, Cosmic Monkey and Excalibur I got 5 Zirchers. I only found one CD at Excalibur and I left it. It was $8 and I already had a lot of those.

Double checked with my guy to get SPECIFIC numbers in Pittsburgh:

Met run of X-O regular.

1 CD cover (ordered 10)
1 Zircher cover (ordered 1)

He sold me one of each, but charged me the 'higher' amount.

He is holding the rest, in case they need to be returned for the CD covers.

Disgustingly honest, that guy. That's why I keep going there.
