AWESOME!

Gilad looks great...only some slight changes to the basic design. And two outstanding covers.

That Shadowman cover by Zircher is also fantastic.

Damn I'm hyped for more VALIANT!

Looks like he's got spikes on both gloves as well as arm-guardy doodads on both sleeves. They don't really look like shotgun shells...

I never really understood the shotgun shell arm thing. A nice personal flourish, I suppose, but we never actually saw it come into play anywhere. For a bit we saw a change with the "20 feet of retractable steel" angle, which he did actually employ.

I guess it was kind of his 'thing'. Spiked glove on his strong hand, some form or armoring on his weak arm.
The first iteration was a lion (or some big cat) paw glove and some kind of pelt lashed to his arm.

Like you say, personal flourish.

All 3 of those covers ROCK! Love the art on the Gilad only cover. His suit could use some tweaking maybe, but we'll see if it actually matches what is in the issue and if so how long they keep it. I would think the ultimate warrior would have learned by now the value of blending into your surroundings (like wearing halfway normal clothes, not a unitard superhero suit.) Maybe he just wears the Unitard on 'missions' away from the public eye?? Like under his street clothes?

That could be hillarious! What would Armstrong be saying at that moment? "I need a drink."?? "Stop it now Gillie, before I wallop you."??
