Long Overdue Kudos to VF.com Board Members
Moderators: Daniel Jackson, greg
Big thanks to Phil/The Visitor for the well packed box of Atlas comics that I was needing. In the package was three beautiful (I mean the highest grade quality books I now own from atlas) books, two that I was needing to get closer to my 100% mark on Atlas:
SGT Stryker #2
the Destructor #3
Along with the new Atlas Retailer Sampler...
Thanks Phil !!! Sending these books to me in the Mylite2s has inspired me to put my entire Atlas/Seaboard collection into Mylite2' which I am doing today.
Make mine Atlas !

THAN, YOU out to BruceReville for two pretty rare Triumphant issues:
The Chromium Man #0 Purple Cover (with Chromium Man sketchbook and CM post card)
Scavengers #0 BLUE Cover (signed and numbered 25/50 with authentic Triumphant Certificate of Authenticity)

I can't forget the Comics Greatest World Diamond and Capital retailer lithos sets/bookmarks that were sent as well. NEVER thought I would have any of these in my collection but I now have a mix and match of the different cities feature in CGW. I don't know how many in total there are but I am on my way !!
An example pick of what I am talking about:

We originally worked out a deal for a nice set of CGW premiums and an entire Triumphant common issue run (plus a few chase issues... I just gave away the entire Triumphant run to a board member in need of some Dead Universe love). Bruce managed to work a deal on finding/buying these two rare issues and ended up just giving them to me... Well I DO owe him a copy of Action Comics #1 MINT when I find one.
Thanks again Bruce

Thanks for the help!
Knightt directed me to this topic so that i could thank the members who have helped me very nearly complete my Valiant collection. First was Elveen - I'm fairly certain I hadn't even finished typing my want list before he contacted me. Great lot of books and a great deal. Next was BT who did a great trade. It seems we are in the same boat as far as trying to complete a Valiant set, so I was glad to assist both of us with that. And most recently was iggy101us. He hooked me up with some of those last issues that we all know can be a pain (either to find or afford). So thanks to all of you. And there are several more that I will likely be purchasing from shortly for my Defiant, Broadway and Valiant variants. I'll edit this appropriately then.

I am POSITIVE that I am behind on my kudos so before I forget, I want to thank 400yrs for the Nintendo books that he sold to me for what I consider to be a steal and shipping them out. They got here yesterday and they look great.
Thanks 'FO !!!

Dr Solar and I made a deal on me getting the first three issues of all 52 New DC issues, and he kept his word on it, even though they're obviously hot and I'm getting a great deal at our agreed upon price. Not that there was ever any doubt that he'd keep his word, but too often over the years people have backed out on agreements with me when hot products were involved. I really appreciate it, Doc. He's a great guy to deal with, and keeps his word, as I'm sure is well known here. Just wanted to express it myself, though.

A general AND specific to shout out to many of you out there.
I've been collecting Valiant since 1992-ish at the suggestion of my long-gone comic book store. I saw the traveling art tour, then hit college - and slowed down.
When I discovered ebay, I hunted down all of the new stories, but left variants, golds, and signed books until I jumped back with you kids - and this is where the thanks come into play.
For so many, you've gone out of your way to re-look through books, offer great deals, combine stuff, send me in the right direction, or just look, and then offer regret. I love the perspectives, arguments, and especially the contradicting experience. Especially, though, I'm grateful for your expertise, knowledge, and kindness.
I've noticed in the last few weeks that I surf here WAY before facebook. That in itself is a sincere compliment.
I'm looking forward to 2012 - and excited to share this with you kids.

Thanks to Knightt for sending me copies of the Overstreet FCBD book from this year. I contributed in a small way to an article included in the book and I just wanted to have a copy to see it for myself, but I never found any locally and the eBay price was always silly high for a book that was supposed to be free. Thanks again, bro!

I'd like to give a huge shout out to Heath for sending me some Xbox Star Wars Games.
I was hunting for an Xbox Revenge of the Sith game and he was kind enough to send me one and he also threw in the first Knights of the Old Republic & Obi-Wan games which I've never played before. Very awesome & generous.
Thank you, Heath!

Knights of the Old Republic is one of the best RPGS and one of the best Star Wars games ever made. Fact.vikingspawn wrote:I'd like to give a huge shout out to Heath for sending me some Xbox Star Wars Games.

Big Thanks To Greg and all of my VF buddies on here. My experience on here since 2007 has been great plus selling on here is sooo much better than ebay. Most people make sure I dont even get a paypal charge! It's great that in this day and age folks can still commune like this over a common passion and help eachother out when needed. I know I def needed these sales, laid off again and bills keep on a commin! My way of givng back has always been sharing my little graphics projects n cool stuff like that, hope they end up in plenty of folk's bound collections, they're a great touch. Gotta newborn too so all the extra change really helps alot. So thanks folks!
