I agree with Doc. I don't have the numbers to back it up, but from what I have seen at MANY LCS, these books are available.

ANY thing else.... nope.

Yep. I looked up the numbers a few days back. I don't remember them exactly, but the print run damn near doubled around issue 96 or 97. It went from under 30K to over 50K. Readership definitely picked up, but speculation fueled that as well. Don't bother picking new issues up to try and flip.

Not right away at least.

I wonder what could happen by the time season #4 comes around.

Animal Man #1 (1st Print) Is finally raising in value, and among the New 52, it's probably got the best writer at DC.

If we are talking about the popularity of TWD and the future value of earlier issues, I disagree. I don't know exactly where the cut-off was. It could be figured out pretty quickly, but I know that issue #92 and below are still flippable and have disappeared from shops here and aren't readily available at alot of the online sites at cover.

If we are talking about continuing sales numbers on current issues, I'm hesitant to say that, but I couldn't disagree. Nearly doubling is worrisome. My thought is that several months after issue #100 (let's say by issue 110), the book will adjust and settle into a number that is more in line with actual monthly readers along the lines of 40-45K.

I was talking about the new issues. It's too difficult to call what will happen with the back issues, for me at least.

I wonder what the print run on these 5th printings is printing is, and how hard to find they will be in the future?

Multiple print generation collecting sounds very niche. For us Valiant completists it's not as unusual but would there really be a large demand for a 5th print of Saga?

Of course this is a key book, but here's a 5th printing of Man Of Steel 18 that went for about 60.00.

I've seen this before on the bay.

I know another high printing book that has BIG value is the Killing Joke, somewhere in the 13th-ish print.

Shout out to TAFKAZ for the knowledge.

Not sure what's going on with the #4 issues of DC's New 52, but I sold a copy of Nightwing #4 for a little over $27 on ebay last week.

#4 issues can tend to pick up a lot of steam down the line, especially if a book gets, or becomes, very popular.

Same thing happened with Uncanny X-Force #4.

Something else that helped spike the price of Uncanny X-Force 4 was the fact that the marvel must have reprint of the early issues only went to issue 3.

It's tough to get in nice shape. There are spine issues on this book much worse than X-O 1.

Saga #1 is a $13 - $20 book trending up. I'm amazed considering that there were 30K+ copies of the first print. However, when you consider that the total print run on issue #1 through all printings was about 70K, I guess it shouldn't be all that surprising.

Iron Man #55 (Thanos' first appearance) is off the charts super hot! (a CGC 9.6 just went for $1700) But any early Thanos books are hot
