Just listened to the recent podcast at the convention that interviewed the team, including Josh. He sounds like a great guy, and I loved the way he views his job.

I was so impressed with Dysart that the next morning I ordered the first trade of Unknown Solder, a Vertigo title that he wrote.

He said one issue that was collected in the fourth trade followed the travels of an AK-47 over the course of 30 years. That is one of the most interesting premises for a single issue that I have heard in a long time. That issue was also nominated for an Eisner.

The thing I've noticed from talking to Josh twice now, is that he has a very interesting way of looking at things, and is great at finding interesting, creative angles from which to look at the stories he writes.

I think you'll hear what I mean a little bit in the episode that is coming out tomorrow, and a lot more so in the episode coming out a week after that.

Folks on the board know who Ed is, from Collector's Paradise. He's a comics retailer, and a huge Valiant fan.

Folks on this board also know who Joshua Dysart is, he writes a little book called "Harbinger".

These folks join us to talk about writing Harbinger, what we can look forward to, about selling comics, and holding awesome events, like the Harbinger Release Party that Ed is holding with Josh in his Collector's Paradise stores.

We're helping promote his event, because, well, it sounds great, and Ed's approach to selling comics is great.

There are no spoilers for Harbinger in this episode (except one, and we give warning to jump ahead if you don't want to hear it), but BE WARNED! Listening to this episode may make the days between now and this Wednesday seem to go incredibly slow!

I'm having a blast re-reading all of my Valiants and also completing my VH1 collection this summer (I'm getting close). The catalyst that brought me back into Valiant was a combination of the new books + re-organizing my comics recently and thinking 'Damn I love Valiant' as I did so.
