Shooter's Blog

Post by iwantvaliant »

Jim Shooter hasn't posted anything new on his blog since March 30th.

Does anybody know why?

He was just starting to get into his days at Valiant. And there was nothing about Dark Horse and his side of why it fell through.

I want more!

I heard it was surgical. He is recuperating from having the stick removed from his *SQUEE*.
What we need is innovation and even revolution—but not so much in the form of marketing ploys and doohickeys. What is needed is bold creative vision, excellent stories, and brilliant storytelling, in a word, entertainment. -- Jim Shooter

I was wondering if the blog silence was connected to the valiant launch.

Since the Valiant promotions started 2/3 months ago, the blog has since been silent with no updates.

JayJay has hardly been tweeting at all. I wonder if for some reason she hasn't been doing much online lately, and that has affected Shooter's blog.
Valiant is the son of the New Universe.

That's because VEI and Shooter have reconciled and he'll be bringing the GK characters back with him at the Big Event.

Is it because with all his experience he decided it was finally time to start his own comic company...?

Oh, wait...
It's not that I don't have an avatar... I've just been working on it for the last few hundred years.

Seems like a typical length of time for any Shooter project (post-Marvel EIC that is) - 1 to 1 1/2 years and then kerblooey. Valiant/Defiant/Broadway/GoldKey/blog

Maybe he got into a fight with himself about the blog and decided to quit.
